What would you say about Homosexual President?

Should we elect Gay President? There are so many mess about gay rights in the US... American pretend to live in the country of freedom. We have already elected black President. Would you vote for a Gay President if you sympathize their policies, and if they supported gay marriage? Homosexual rule will neversave the Motherland.

I like having running water, paved roads, a fire department I can depend on, schools, parks, electricity, etc., and I'm happy to pay taxes for the privilege of having those and other things that make life easier and longer. That's not being "ruled," that's cooperating and appointing leadership to make sure stuff gets done. Meanwhile I pick my own job, my own place (state, city, house) to live, my own retirement timeline, decide for myself if I want to join the military, and on and on. If you think living in the US is living in tyranny, you have never seen real tyranny.

one should consider the character of the candidate,,the ability of him/her to lead,,the past accomplishments and liabilities of him/her..the positions they tout and who they choose to surround themselves with..

race, gender, sexual preference is of little value to the majority of voters and should not be important in choosing who to align with..

and after careful consideration, and reviewing all the facts and deciding which candidate would be the best for our country, they should take pride in knowing they chose the best person for all of us..

and vote republican...

"Being gay" is not and never will be one of my criteria for choosing who to vote for.
"Being black" was not a criteria.
"Being woman" is not and was not a criteria.

If anyone uses these things to choose the person to vote for, that person is a moron.

We've already had a gay President, James Buchanan. It isn't because of his failure to marry that causes me to think this. It was his relationship with Senator Rufus King. The two were inseparable, and the wagging tongues of Washington certainly thought so, referring to King as Buchanan's "better half," "his wife," "Miss Nancy," and "Aunt Fancy."

Whatever. More important is the fact that when Vice Presidents died in office, they weren't replaced. So who would have become President if Pierce had died after King did?
