They are treated the same, that's the law.

What you object to is that they aren't sentenced the same since you see no difference between a police officer shooting a gang-banger committing a robbery and one gang-banger shooting another for robbing his drug stash.

I never said that. That is the second time you have posted that lie. You want to add in someone armed or in the act of committing a violent crime. That is not what anyone is talking about except you. In fact a while back I showed you that most deaths happen while people are in police custody.

Admit the truth; except for a few instances, police are subject to the same scrutiny and laws as the rest of us.

Read my previous post again. I'm tired of repeating myself:
......That said, I fully support oversight of all government agencies, including the police. I support voter ID laws for the same reason. Do you?

No they are not. In truth if they are investigating their own crimes they can be. If you kill someone the very first thing that happens is that you are arrested for killing someone. If you don't believe that is true then go out and put it to the test. That is not what happens when a police officer kills someone. We know that to be a fact.

Police work for the city. If the city mayor and civil government structure doesn't investigate it properly, who is at fault; the police or the elected government?
