Great News, Liberals! A Shooter At Planned Parenthood In Colorado Springs!

It appears there's a shooting at or near a Planned Parenthood in Colorado Springs.

Woo hoo, it's a twofer. You can cry and scream about Planned Parenthood and call for more gun control all at the same time. And even better, since the shooting is at Planned Parenthood, it's not likely you'll be embarrassed and it turn out the shooter is a die hard leftist.

Hopefully there will be a nice body count for you to exploit for politics- everyone knows that's the only time you care about any killings. For your sake, I hope the shooter isn't black.

Uh oh, it might be bad news for liberals:

The shooting situation remains active and the shooter is not contained. Colorado Springs police says there is no connection to Planned Parenthood and shooting victims are getting treatment.

It would take a pretty illogical and/or unintelligent person to not come to the conclusion a good CHL program reduces crime. It's just a shame bloodthirsty liberal savages aren't pro-choice when it comes to women having choices in protecting themselves from brutality. This may become even more relevant if liberals get their way and we import Middle East savages to the US.

Agreed on CHL and a woman's right to choose, especially when it comes to their own self-defense.

While it would be nice to live in a perfect world where criminals aren't allowed to commit crimes, that fact remains human society doesn't have the means to stop crime. It can only do it's best to reduce it. Allowing citizens the right to defend themselves is part of the solution.

A police officer has died of his wounds. I don't suppose you could tone it down for just a minute.

Do you ever think before you write, I think not. Do you think anyone is happy when people lose their lives. Maybe you think that way, but most people don't.

Are you saying LW anti-gunners don't post multiple threads on the same event, effectively standing on bodies to promote an anti-gun agenda?

Tell me honestly, IW, would you have been happy if a CHL citizen shot the murderous SOB the moment he stepped into the clinic to harm others?

Well really you admit I'm correct anyway, as you said most people aren't happy when people lose their lives. Obviously you're conceding some are happy. So what exactly is it you are complaining about again? Do you ever think before you write?

That is terrible, no question. Sadly, there are liberals reading your comment who need to know the skin color of the officer before deciding how they feel about it.

I think further evidence of their hatred of guns and thus love of gun deaths is when they avoid threads that have stories about armed citizens stopping crimes. They avoid those in droves. Such stories, and there plenty of them, are virtual liberal repellent.

Yes I would have been happy if a CHL would have shot the guy, but it doesn't seem to happen. I am long past the time in which I believe we can do anything about the number of guns in this country. I had to laugh when a politico from Texas said that we couldn't allow Syrian refugees into the country because it was much too easy for them to get guns and be able to do the Paris thing here in the USA. It made my point that it is long past the time that gun control would help. Too, too many guns already here and way to easy to get one. Like the Dallas Mayor said and I believe, I am more afraid of crazy white men with guns than terrorists coming from the Middle East.

Clearly all races engage in violence. That said, blacks tend to be more violent based on statistics. I am also willing to write off a percentage of that as racial prejudice towards blacks. But even allowing for that, there is clearly something especially wrong in the black community. I also believe a significant portion of that blame lies with the destruction of the black family war on poverty.

That's "American" blacks and I do agree it's cultural, not genetic. I've worked with several reps from other nations who happened to be black and most are always quick to differentiate themselves from "American blacks".

IMO, it's purely cultural and you comment "something especially wrong in the black community" is correct as it applies to inner-city, gang-oriented black culture. I also agree an entitlement culture features prominently as the basis of these problems.

I should have made the distinction you made- inner city, gan-oriented. Well done. I've run into the same thing with Africans who make the same distinction- not to tarnish all American blacks, of course. Like any other group, it's usually a small proportion who make a lot of noise and give everyone else in the group a bad name.

Agreed. Like anything else, most law-abiding Americans, regardless of race, only read the news. They aren't in it. It's idiots like Corey Morgan or James Holmes who make the news.
