Sick of El Niño? You Ain't Seen Nothing Yet, Warns NASA
The El Niño currently wreaking havoc around the world is forecast to only worsen in 2016 — and NASA experts fear it could get as bad as the most destructive El Niño ever.

A new satellite image of the weather system "bears a striking resemblance to one from December 1997" — the worst El Niño on record — which was blamed for extreme weather, including record rainfall in California and Peru, heat waves across Australia, and fires in Indonesia. The severe conditions resulted in an estimated 23,000 deaths in 1997 and 1998.

Whatever happens we'll just have to ride it out. At least we know what's going on. Many people in South America who might be impacted by it might not even know what's coming.

We definitely need the rain and the snow here in Northern CA. Our snow pack is at about 130% of normal right now and predicted to go to 160-170% of normal by the end of March. It will bring a measure of drought relief to the state. Unfortunately, since the state is run by leftist retards, there are still no plans to increase our water storage capacity, while the state population continues to rise. So, most of this extra snow pack will end up in the ocean. Heckuva job, Jerry!

I am loving the weather in Ohio. I have not picked up a shovel, a snow brush, or used my snow blower this winter.

AWESOME!
