I got sanctioned at that other site thanks to someone going by the name Marvin Martian reporting me. I noticed there is a Marvin Martian here as well, but I doubt they're the same person.

Now another forum has popped up - It is a bit like Slate with its different boards one could pop in and out of but instead of boards there are now different forums - not quite the same though some how - still a terrible time waster though eh? ;)

Okay, I went to that other board (PH) and looked it over. It's much ado about nothing. It appears to be run by liberals with no regard for the First Amendment.

Many of these boards have a high toleration level. PH apparently does not. They have a list of banned members alone that surpasses this board for total membership. So, you have nothing to worry about from them.

Insofar as new boards, I built one myself, but could never find posters. So, if this one develops its own sense of direction, it has a start. Anyway, thanks for the heads up on poachers, but don't see it as being a problem.

1. It is possible to post on more than one board. Most of us post on several.

2. It is impossible for members to be poached from a board that is healthy and good. Sick boards lose posters for many reasons. Poaching is one of them.

3. A board that forbids posting about other boards.........is on the defense and is probably not a healthy board.
