35 eye-popping quotes from Trump's NYT interview

Yeah, they're "direct", and two were good enough to write an article about. 33 were far from eye-popping. Cilizza is a pajamaboy lickspittle. And you post him... wait let me get my Alex Jones Obama quotes going.
Hey, just because you think Trump's quotes are normal does not mean sane people share that view. In any event, the piece provides direct quotes - something you will rarely see in right wing media. It is left to the reader to conclude whether the quotes are, indeed, eye-popping.

35 eye-popping quotes in only one hour!

Our insane clown president at his "best"!

"The Nazis and Stalingrad(?)

"'Trump: Same thing happened to Hitler. Not for that reason, though. Hitler wanted to consolidate. He was all set to walk in. But he wanted to consolidate, and it went and dropped to 35 degrees below zero, and that was the end of that army. ... But the Russians have great fighters in the cold. They use the cold to their advantage.'

"This seems to be a reference to World War II's Battle of Stalingrad. The offensive was launched by Hitler in the summer of 1942 and while the Nazis gained a slim foothold in the city, the fighting carried on for months. By winter, the Russian counteroffensive had beaten back the tide and encircled German troops. Many -- those who didn't freeze, starve or die in combat -- would eventually surrender. The battle is often cited as a turning point in the war."

The fact is that Hitlers generals wanted to withdraw from Stalingrad to shorten their lines and provide a better logistical capability....they knew their troops would be surrounded and that the Luftwaffe couldn't supply them by air. Hitler refused....not one inch. Just showing how little Trump knows about anything.

Eye popping because it shows just how thin Trump's ability to express himself is. The man is borderline incoherent.

From someone who believes such brain surgeons like Hillary Clinton, Al Franken, Maxine Waters, Chuck Schumer and Kamala Harris are "leaders" of your party, believe me when I say your opinion is meaningless.

Coming from someone who hasn't a clue as to what I believe about any of those people...your opinion is less than useless.

Try expressing an opinion on Trump's gibberish, instead of attacking other posters.

All of Trump's utterances, according to one of his biographers, comes down to:
1. self-aggrandizement
or
2 self-preservation

It's not as if Trump is a complicated, deep man. LOL

Never doubted what was said. Just wondering what kind of mouth-breathing hypocrite cretin finds these "eye-popping".
They're not, and don't become so because a true hack like Cilizza says so.

Nobody really cares HOW Trump talks. Being good with word does not prove how smart you are. Everyone has known for years how he speaks, and I doubt any of us that voted for him (and even some that didn't) really gives a sh*t. He carried himself perfectly during his trip overseas. Many said he was finally acting Presidential (even your liberal media in some cases!). Obama was an eloquent speaker (as long has he had his teleprompter)....but everything that came out of his mouth were lies. You're all so damn worried that Trump is going to succeed and show Obama up you can't stand it! Lol! MAGA!!!!
