over our military.
Trump tweets:
“Democrats are holding our Military hostage over their desire to have unchecked illegal immigration,” he tweeted. “Can’t let that happen!”

And Trump is exactly right.
That's shameful, Democrats. Just shameful.

Democrats claimed to want clean bills in the past. Suddenly they don't want a clean bill...............they want to tack other stuff on.

Trump was in favor of the 2013 shutdown...but doesn't like this one. The republicans are in control, not the democrats.

I'm sorry that you don't understand that it would have taken 60 votes to avert shutdown, and that this shutdown is over illegals vs our own safety........... 2013 was not over that.

Oh, so the republican shutdown was good and this one is bad...What happened to active duty paychecks in 2013? Why did the senate democrat's proposal to continue paying active duty military fail to pass?

Look...the republicans were in control of congress in 2013 and the goal then was to override a legal vote for the Affordable Care act because they could not muster the votes to repeal it.

Now they are in control of congress and they can't even get all republicans to support their budget. This is not all about immigration and it is not all democrats who are holding things up.

by holding the bill hostage by trying to add a separate issue that wasn't to expire until march. By doing that their needed to be 60 votes in the Senate as you once called republicans now they hold the name. dems are traitors.
