We mighty close, 25 miles at best and as long as smoker has fire, rain should n't be a problem..........drink mo LeeDawg, I’m to your east tonight down about mile marker 145, sitting outside smelling the smoker, drinking some Elmer T Lee, and listening to the thunder of the next round moving in. If I can keep the smoker dry it will be a miracle
