I was driving on the Stevenson yesterday (SATURDAY!) @ 4:30 pm and I had to exit Harlem again, as the whole freeway comes to a hault around Midway. And this was on a Saturday... even the Governor admitted in a state of the state address that the Stevenson needs another lane (2 near Midway). But it won't happen, that would cost way too much money for our budgets, no way we can afford to put that kind of money into roads.........
you should see the intersection at Cicero (leads to Midway); it is a veritable shit hole; and what does the city do to improve it? Nothing, but it was chosen as one of the worst intersections; that's where they place photo tickets, Chicago works that way; they are so openly crooked; law enforcement is purely a source of revenue.
Who is paying good money to go visit the Obama presidential library? Instead of the Shed Aquarium? Only people who are hoping their pic is somewhere inside of it. Who is visiting Chicago to go see the Obama presidential library? ............................. ???
What they should do is skip the parking lot and simply plant grass and trees.
.... and fix the Stevenson at Cicero.
