Because the unfortunate fact is, that most security guards are really pretty shitty, and not good for much. And they will sometimes get their company and the contracting company sued.
Businesses and individuals who want good security services and are willing to pay the cost of it, come to folks like me, and a few others..... and we charge out the ass for our work, and nobody ever sees us do our thing. And we sure as hell don't end up on Youtube or get you dragged into court.

What makes this even stupider, IMO, is that a synagogue has some legit, serious security concerns. You would think they would invest in some actual security instead of this clown who just cost them about a million bucks in legal fees and settlement monies.
(OTOH, now word will get around not to fvck with the jews down there because they will cap your ass, lol.)

The individual who was shot was a 1st Amendment auditor and they are all about flexing their rights..... for everyone who is not out to make a point, I would strongly urge you to stay away from people like this dumbfuck security guard. When someone is either stupid or crazy enough to draw a pistol on you for filming him, you need to get the hell away from that psycho.

I like this line of thinking. At least SOMEONE got mowed down. Hopefully the next loser will think about it.

I watch a lot of 1st Amendment auditors on Youtube, and I've met quite a few of the ones here in Texas, and while some of the more recent ones are annoying and deliberately provocative when they're confronted, one thing they are all careful to do, is stay within the law.
Just be nice, or even just ignore them, and you won't end up Youtube famous.
