#GiletsJaunes Acte XII in Paris yesterday.

I was on yesterday's march in honour of the victims and injured by state violence in France. It was a peaceful, good humoured march - the only infractions carried out by Antifa or Casseurs who were driven away by the Gilets Jaunes before they could cause too much damage.

When we arrived at Place de la Republique, Police surrounded the area, cutting off all exits, they then kettled all civilians, including demonstrators, passers-by, tourists, children, disabled and elderly into the Place de la Republique. Tear gas was rained down on people in the square and intermittently the Police factions would charge the crowd. This is one of those charges.

During this attack, a journalist was violently thrown to the ground.

Police fire LBD40 flashball randomly into crowds of civilians after raining tear gas down on them. All exits from the square were closed, there was no escape.

French state Gestapo tactics to suppress dissent. It will never work.

Sitting on a bus in London this week, I struck up a conversation with a French woman. She is French but lives in Switzerland - Her husband, who was German, died a year and a half ago since when she with her two little dogs, who were also on the bus, travel around a lot visiting family and friends ---- anyway - She was in London visiting her daughter ( who has cats, much to her disgust) and said that she used to visit her friend in Paris regularly but since the gilets jaunes that has become near impossible - she said that the security in and around Paris now is massive - so bad that she just doesn't go and her Parisian friend says that it has had a very negative effect on everyday life there too now. I asked if she thought Macron would go and she just shrugged - 'Who is Macron? No-body, it is the whole organization ....' but mainly we talked of other things

No, they are shooting the protesters instead

This is the EU! Soon the Lisbon Treaty comes into force and then we shall have EU police and army instead of our national ones And they wonder why our Police force is so depleted.

Some of the Gilet Jaune are saying that some of the Police who are firing on them are not their own, already.
