From Trump’s stooge Barr today:

“There is substantial evidence to show that the president was frustrated and angered by a sincere belief that the investigation was undermining his presidency, propelled by his political opponents and fueled by illegal leaks.”

Sure, Trump took many actions to obstruct the investigation, but he was frustrated. Even angry! And he had political opponents! And some unspecified “illegal leaks”!

So all is forgiven.

If 24/7 cable news was a reality back in 1989, Barr's lying and deception in a DOJ report would've been caught...when it happened. He would've been outed as the unethical lawyer and political hack he is.

And there's another report.....when Trump was told of the appointment of a special counsel, he said, "I'm fvcked."
He still is.
