Bugsy McGurk
President
It’s really no news that the wealth gap has soared since the 1980’s. Our governmental policies, especially tax policy, have operated to shift staggering wealth to those who are already wealthy. To summarize the effects:
“A recent analysis of a Federal Reserve report found that over the last three decades, the wealthiest 1 percent of Americans saw their net worth grow by $21 trillion, while the wealth of the bottom 50 percent fell by $900 billion.”

So, the billionaires club has proposed a wealth tax to partially offset the ever-soaring wealth gap.
Makes perfect sense, right? That’s how we know Trump and the GOP would never go for it.
