Or perhaps the moral superiority imbued upon those fortunate enough to have been born here and not subjected to the hardships of trying to illegally break in.

There are alternatives to spending billions on a border wall and nobody but the far left wants to talk about open borders.
Don't want the hardship of trying to illegally break in? Don't break the law. Pretty simple.

I'm thrilled we can agree on your last paragraph.

FACT: sneaking across the border is an indicator that the person sneaking across has no intention of seeking asylum. Now do you have some sort of percentage figure on your claim that people who sneak across seek asylum "all the time"? If so, I'll be happy to consider it.

You got nuthin'. You know it. I know it. And you have yet to show a shred of evidence that would make any rational person think I think the deaths are "amusing".
Among asylum claims filed at the southern border over the last fiscal year, 40% were filed at border crossing stations

Specifically, how does that help prove your point? Show your work instead of just a link and a stat.

GO!
this is a trick question...if only 40% of the innigrants crossing the border are asking for asylum at ports of entry...how is your guess at intent shown to be true?

it's a teachable moment, and a reminder that breaking the law is risky. Parents need to think long and hard about subjecting their children to this risk, simply to save time and effort by skirting an established legal process.
Violating Their Evolutionary Expiration Date

If these obsolete tribes cared about what is good for their children, they wouldn't have any.

Well people, this is what can happen when you decide to break the law. Hilariously, the article tries to state the father was trying to get asylum. What a load of crap. He was trying to sneak in illegally. Had he been seeking asylum, he would have gone to a port of entry to do so.

Funny how all these people sneaking into the border just swear they were going to seek asylum as soon as they got in. You'd have to be a brain dead leftist to believe such nonsense.

Break laws. Win stupid prizes.

People who attempt to seek asylum at ports of entry are driven away with bullets and tear gas. The intent is to cause outcomes like this.

Seriously, you have some major anger issues to deal with. But I will make an attempt to try and educate you. Yes, of course Europeans took big chances. And of course, they were responsible for their actions and the consequences as much as these two illegal aliens.

The fact remains that at this current time, we are the United States of America and we have LAWS. The illegal aliens broke the law and paid the ultimate price. Now, Einstein: tell me what laws European settlers were breaking.

I hope that helps you achieve some level of understanding above the medulla and pons.

Oh but I do admit I have no idea how many Europeans died coming to the New World. But then again, neither do you. I think there may be some Googling in your future....LOLOLOLOL
In other words, Europeans did not have arbitrary, unjust, and racist restrictions that added unnecessary dangers to the peril they already risked.

He cared so much about the safety of his child that he was willing to risk this dangerous border crossing rather than do nothing to help his child escape.
He had already escaped El Salvador and chose poorly.

I would question the authenticity of this photo. If, however, it turns out to be a real picture of an incident that occurred as described, it's a teachable moment, and a reminder that breaking the law is risky. Parents need to think long and hard about subjecting their children to this risk, simply to save time and effort by skirting an established legal process.
He was trying to save their lives, so he took a desperate risk.

About 250 people per day apply for asylum. Since there is no longer any way to apply for asylum without “sneaking across the border,” it seems people do just that all the time.
