If they are all seeking asylum, then incarcerating them without prompt asylum hearings is a Geneva Convention violation and a crime against humanity.

2. They blamed the Berlin “deep state” for not taking the problem seriously.
3. This isn’t about apportioning blame. It’s about putting an end to present horrors (much of which could be done with a White House policy directive) and preventing future ones.
