Mueller: told ya once. Now I'll tell you twice.

It doesn't seem to be difficult to prove.
Especially when the servant of justice whose investigation was obstructed is going to testify that his investigation was obstructed by, or on the orders of, Trump.

Ooooh. We'll see

Not odd.
He doesn't work for the DOJ anymore. He is now a private citizen who has been called before congress to give testimony. He is not bound by the Trump mob's oath of omerta.
SO, if a 'private citizen' has classified information in his or her head, they are free to disseminate said information after leaving government work? Hmmmmmm......

What would be hilarious is if Mueller goes straight into a semantics and English grammar lesson..

I wasn't making excuses for trump. I was illustrating that obstruction will be difficult to prove.

You ok?
Over 900 former federal prosecutors say there's no question....Trump committed obstruction of justice.

Had you read the Mueller report, you'd know that Mueller stated he could not charge Trump with that crime ONLY because the DOJ has a rule against indicting a sitting president. He added that he could not clear Trump of that crime i.e. proclaim he was innocent.

If you watched the Watergate hearings, you know that the testimony riveted the nation. Having Mueller testify on TV will again rivet the nation.
Trump knows that.
Trump is afraid of that.

Why?

Mueller has already stated everything he has to say he said in the report.

In his statement he said "Now, I hope and expect this to be the only time that I will speak to you in this manner. I am making that decision myself. No one has told me whether I can or should testify or speak further about this matter. There has been discussion about an appearance before Congress. Any testimony from this office would not go beyond our report. It contains our findings and analysis and the reasons for the decisions we made. We chose those words carefully, and the work speaks for itself. "

You can find it here:

He is also constrained by law and executive privilege.

So, enjoy the attempted theatrics

He said there are complicated matters of law that cannot be addressed by the scope of the investigation..... Had you read it that is.

To your point:

House Democrats have delayed former special counsel Robert Mueller’s Capitol Hill testimony until July 24 to allow for “expanded questioning.” By this they mean grandstanding, virtue signaling, political posturing and contriving theatrical stunts aimed at resuscitating the discredited “obstruction” claims against President Trump.

The question remains why Mueller should testify at all. There is no chance that he will add anything of substance to the matters already amply explored in the 448-page report on his two-year investigation. There will be no new evidence, no smoking gun, nothing to clarify what has already been made quite clear: there was no collusion, no obstruction.

But clarity is hardly the objective in this political circus. Democrats are bound and determined to muddy the waters to resuscitate the comatose impeachment narrative. And Mueller may be more than willing to help.

true. but he is a special prosecutor who spent years putting together all the examples of collusion and obstruction of justice clearly laid out in his report. what better person to explain why he decided to not indict in person, so the American people can hear him explain it in his own words? or explain why he decided to not question trump or his closest associates under oath about their ties to russians so many different times, and their lies about who talked to who and when, in person instead of in a take home questionairre? he was working for us, the American people, not the democrats or the republicans, and most Americans have not read the report, or could navigate their way through such arcane and complicated legal jargonese enough to clearly understand just how damning it was even if they did try to read all 400 pages...

congress can walk and chew gum at the same time. there are only about 30 congressmen out of 435 who will be involved in any of this testimony, and the rest are free to pursue making laws and setting policies that affect other important subjects facing this country.

why are republicans so afraid of more light, more transparency, a clearer explanation of what Mueller spent 2 years gathering and reporting?

Arcane and complicated?
Let's be honest...it's a wish that he dumb it down for those that couldn't comprehend it

He did explain in his report.

And I don't think he'll be able to make it that..dumb

Did you hear him mention his statement in the report... "If we had confidence that the president did not commit a crime, we would have said so".
So...he was saying that he didn't have confidence that Trump DID NOT commit a crime.
Right? I'd like to hear him explain that one. Also, he didn't go into the reasons that he gave for obstruction in his report, during his public statement. He did mention them in the report
No worries, Phil...you don't have to find excuses for Trump...Barr has his ass covered.
You just can't leave it alone

President Trump committed NO crimes at all.
And all this Russia shitt occurred DURING THE OBAMA REGIME.

EatTheRich

President
Now you're back to desperately trying to tie crimes from many years ago in the Ukraine unrelated to the Trump campaign and Russian collusion into a conspiracy as to why Mueller found no evidence to support coordination?

What is your purpose here? Seriously. If you are just trying to look like a fool you are doing a good job.
No. They were charged with obstructing Mueller’s investigation. Did you miss that?

Yep...and it's all Obama's fault that Trump does whatever he does . Odd...in worldwide polls and polls in the USA, Obama is still favored over Trump. Worldwide, it was even more obvious. The orange SOB may be able to fool his crazy base here, but our allies have been on to him the whole time. And Putin and Kim un and the Saudis are playing him like a fiddle. But he needs people like you and his other defenders. He's the most insecure person on the face of this earth...always looking for compliments and acceptance.

Red herrings aside, if election shenanigans involving the Russians occurred, they occurred on President Obama's watch, no?

Noted...you ducked Julie's remarks that Mueller wrote about not being convinced that Trump didn't commit a crime. You always avoid the obvious and go right to the same ole same ole Trump excuses. Hell, you could be speaker at one of his rallies...praising him for what he supposedly has done and defending him for his lies and obvious affection for our enemies.
