The Unafforable Care Act

There is a still a risk they knock someone up. If the risk is small then it will be reflected in the premiums.
Really? Obamacare asks you if you are gay? If you say yes your premiums are lower because the risk of "knocking someone up" is lower?

Show me where it says that.:D

No, premiums for the entire risk-pool will be lower if the risks of pregnancy is lower.
You are flailing, badly.

How do they determine the risks are lower? Do they ask if you are gay or not? Do they ask if you have grown kids and no longer need maternity coverage?

This is fun.................:D

Do you seriously not know how insurance companies determine rates?
They have actuaries who's job it is to determine risks. And judging by the consistency at which the insurance companies make money they do a fairly decent job.
Do they ask if you are gay or not?
I am guessing you never had a statistics class. The risk-pool is a sample of the population. As the sample gets bigger it looks more and more like the population as a whole. the percentage of the population that is gay is a known quantity and it would work as a stand-in for the percentage of gay people in a large risk-pool.
Do they ask if you have grown kids and no longer need maternity coverage?
The risks of get pregnant are reduced when they get older which is reflected in the price of their premiums, its just overwhelmed by the increased risks of using every other essential benefit.

Republicans and Democrats finally agree on something: Obamacare is a failure:

Another Study Confirms Obamacare Is The Unaffordable Care Act

Despite the high level of partisanship in the United States, both sides can agree on something even as controversial as health care: Both Democrats and Republicans believe Obamacare has failed to deliver.

Based on their last primary debate, Democrats running for the 2020 presidential nomination can’t give away more health care subsidies fast enough. Some of them want to abolish Obamacare outright. But all of them agree the law has not lived up to Barack Obama’s claims during the 2008 campaign, when he repeatedly promised that hisplan would reduce premiums by $2,500 for the average family.

A recently released analysis by the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services (CMS) confirms what Democrats themselves have admitted: Obamacare has priced millions out of the market for health insurance.

Anyone surprised by this didn't do the math ahead of time.
There was no problem with the math. The problem came from idiots who has to little coverage and had to get more. I am very happy with the PPACA and it reduced my costs considerably.

That just means you are so poor you qualify for subsidies from the rest of us.

Pay your own way.

That's GREAT and enabled you to get a bigger tent.

Sad, but not surprising that you chose name-calling as a substitute for an argument.

I don't have Obamacare, so my healthcare actually works for me.

Sorry to disappoint.
do you know anyone who kept their kids on their policy until 26? I do. Know anyone who was denied coverage before the ACA? I do. Do you know anybody on a policy they couldn't have afforded before 2010? I do.

As designed. And by “designed”, I mean designed. Planned. Intended. Directed.

Just watch.
