Yes, Google controls a large portion of the flow of information on the internet.
You think that is what decides elections? Search engines? Have you ever taken part in an election? Have you ever walked neighborhoods, showed up at forums, passed out literature?

What wins elections is the people on the ground. Not Google, Yahoo, Bing...

Yeah, everybody tells the truth to the Senate....right? He is expressing his opinions. Send me your mailing address...I'll send you a large grain of salt to take with them.

Can he prove people were going to vote for Trump until they did a google search? Of course not. Care to explain the voting statistics from the years before Google? Gee...how did democrats ever win prior to when Google started competing with other browsers?

Was there a massive shift in voter turnout or party affiliation? Yep...from both dem and repub to independent. Did a lot more people vote democrat after google really got going in 2000? No. Bush barely squeeked into the White House, actually losing the popular vote, but did better in 2004.

Look at election statistics from 2004 on. Trump lost by 3 million...now according to this crap, he actually would have won by many millions of votes...he dreams he'd have gotten 16 million more. Wouldn't that show up as a huge blip between 2004 and 2016 in voting patterns?

An inconvenient statistic, I know.
I'll take that as your surrender. if there was any reasonable expectation that Google was helping the Republican Party he'd be flipping the f*** out over it

Or is our con friend trying to make the opposite claim from Mueller's findings....Russia's use of social media to foment division and spread falsehoods....to help Trump and hurt Hillary in 2016?

Speaking of Trump's conspiracy of vote fraud in 2016, I got your fraudster right here....and he's a Trumpie. LOL

On Monday in federal court in Sacramento, a man accused of coming to the United States from Mexico and voting illegally in elections for the past 20 years went on trial on charges of aggravated identity theft, voting by an alien and making a false statement on a passport application.

But there’s a twist.

Gustavo Araujo Lerma is an avowed Trump supporter, and evidence expected to be introduced in his trial includes letters of thanks from Trump, former Republican National Committee Chairman Reince Priebus and current RNC Chair Ronna McDaniel.

Who reads Trump's tweets then??

Do tell.
Not sure. I wouldn't even know he tweeted if it wasn't posted here on pj.

As you know Pete, I travel the country almost every weekend for 6 months every year. I don't hear the word Trump, see any protests, or hear anything about tweeting. The media is obsessed with his tweets which mean absolutely nothing.

Trump's tweets roil the markets and put the question to his good faith in trade deals. Not to mention Trump tweet/bashing the head of the Federal Reserve. Get it now?
Stocks are based on price earnings ratios, don't pay attention to the medias reasons that a stock goes up or down on a given day. You are buying into the media who is manipulating you.

You think $100k in Facebook ads decided the last election.

If you read Trump's tweets or listened to what he says, he's basing his success with the economy on how well the markets do. LOL

So, anyone who reads his tweets, and bothers to run here to start a thread about the tweet, is by your definition not sane.

Got it.
The tweets aren't policy so they are meaningless.

They cast doubt on the ability of the president to maintain a rational train of thought. That shakes the confidence of our allies and strengthens our enemies.

If only Trump had actually done something that made things better than they were in January 2017. The unemployment rate was declining and was down to 4.5% when Trump walked in the door.

His tax cut was a temporary bump. Now we have a huge deficit and $22 trillion debt. He promised to pay off the debt. Guess he lied.

His executive actions repealing Obama's have allowed coal mines to dump mine waste into waterways. Did that create any new jobs? Nah. His tariffs on steel and aluminum just make those materials more expensive to US manufacturers. Did that create new jobs in US steel manufacturing? Nope.

He's repeating the findings from the senate hearing.
The author came out and said trump not telling the truth to what he meant on his findings, actually like 23 votes in question wasn't it.............but that doesn't fit Fox News as they are trying to kiss and makeup with Trump after reporting FACTS about economy and polls.

If foreign countries and enemies are making decisions off of tweets then they are going to get played.

Trump has shown himself to be low information or no information in his tweets. Does that inspire confidence? His dishonesty is unraveling any faith a foreign ally might have in him.

Sorry, I see him as appearing to be unreliable at best.
