I’m fine with discussing a typhus outbreak, but it seems to me to be a discussion better suited to boards dealing with medical issues. The only reason it’s raised here is to selectively hate on California. Such things have been banging around in the right wing echo chambers for many months, seeking to depict California as a hellhole since it’s such a Blue state, and ignoring poverty-related problems in Red states.
