Trump Repeatedly Pressed Ukraine President to Investigate Biden’s Son

funny, you never whine or complain when it's NOT a Trump thread, and the resident liberals try to turn it into one. Why is that?
I don't whine Or complain, I make observations. I don't even put a reply in to most of these threads just because of this shit. After the redirect comes the personal attack to change the subject. Same o same o.

LOL! You would report me for thread jacking, if only I had actually done so. That's pretty low class, even for a lefty.

ALL Ukrainian pols and bureaucrats are corrupt! Ukraine is the poster country for official corruption. To pretend otherwise is laughingly self-serving. So yes, he was corrupt.

But here's a question your "impartial" EU viewpoint seems to have missed - why was Biden the guy who had to deliver the ultimatum? There was no one in the State Department who could have done it to avoid the appearance of impropriety? Do you suppose they were unaware that Biden's son was being investigated? That is absurd! Under the circumstances ANYONE but Joe should have been the messenger.
i would never go crying to any moderator about anything some trump voter said, who gives a shit? but a lot of trump voters cry about "thread derailment" even when it is just comparing some petty bitch about a democrat to a real example of trump being a lying corrupt piece of shit as in this case.

try to understand- the US and the EU wanted that slimeball "prosecutor" out because he was corrupt and let others in the Ukraine be corrupt, and he was holding back any US or EU investment in that country because it was being used to enrich already rich ass-holes with connections instead of improving the country.....they wanted the prosecutor to investigate MORE not less!! what trump and rudy did is turn it upside down and say biden was trying to get the guy to prosecute LESS...the article I sourced did not even mention biden or his son, because it was not relevant!!

I'm certainly no Trump supporter. I find the bulk of his political positions odious, not to mention he is a miscreant. But if we're going to look into Trump's seedy moves, lets agree to also look at Biden's (and the Clintons') as well, are you with me?

clinton bill and hillary have been investigated more than any political couple in history, with not one conviction from any of the charges brought forth. Neither of them have even been charged with a crime, much less investigated. the hunter biden connection in Ukraine has been investigated with no charges against hunter. read something.

The Russians developed the conspiracy back in 2014.....all ready for Trump to use for 2020.

Guess who pushed FAKE Biden-in-Ukraine disinformation before Giuliani, Trump, Don Jr & the GOP propaganda machine? SPUTNIK. Like giving candy to a baby, Russia feeds conspiracy theories to help Trump. Seems the Kremlin is already aboard TrumpTrain 2020. https://theintercept.com/2019/05/10/rumors-joe-biden-scandal-ukraine-absolute-nonsense-reformer-says/ …

A Republican Conspiracy Theory About a Biden-in-Ukraine Scandal Has Gone Mainstream. But It Is Not...
The rumor that Joe Biden abused his power to protect his son’s business interests in Ukraine is “absolute nonsense,” leading anti-corruption activist says.

The Intercept notes Sputnik was an early propagator of the general Ukraine-Dems-collusion conspiracy theory. That Russian propaganda has now evolved into a more precision disinformation campaign against Biden by Trump, Giuliani, RW media. NB Sputnik planted that idea too—in 2014.

I understand perfectly. Regardless of the circumstances, anyone interested in good governance would admit that ANYONE but Joe Biden would have been the proper person to lower the boom on this guy. As it is, it looks like Joe might have been free lancing, because, again, anyone interested in maintaining the standards of good governance would have sent ANYONE but Joe Biden to deliver that message. Unless, of course, the Obama Administration had no idea that the guy was looking into Hunter Biden's shady deal. Which if true only suggests more strongly that Joe was representing his son, and not the American people.

What keeps getting glossed over in this is Trump telling the Ukrainian to work with Giuliani. Giuliani wasn’t there on behalf of the U.S. Giuliani isn’t with the State Department,NSA,FBI,DOJ,CIA etc. He was/is Trump’s private lawyer and this was a threat to withhold US military aid funds for a completely private purpose.
what really keeps getting glossed over is it never happened that way. Even the Ukrainian foreign minister, works for the guy on the other end of the call, says there was no pressure from Trump to do anything...

Ukraine foreign minister defends Trump's call with Zelenskiy: 'I think there was no pressure'

“I know what the conversation was about and I think there was no pressure,” Foreign Minister Vadym Prystaiko told the Hromadske media outlet. "There was talk, conversations are different, leaders have the right to discuss any problems that exist. This conversation was long, friendly, and it touched on many questions, sometimes requiring serious answers."

We are left with calling this fake non story- a scandal.

We reek of desperation.

What bothers me is the constant redirection whenever Trump is mentioned.
What bothers me is when people get their shorts in a wad when one of their political opponents does something incompetent or corrupt, but then when one of the politicians they support does the exact same thing, suddenly lose interest in good governance.
