Everyone saw that, BC, so don't let it go to your head. I know this is a big moment for you, getting a response from the great pumpkin but I doubt it's the beginning of a lifelong relationship.Thanks. I also see SW48 answered me and stated that things are not going good.

All it takes is a few posters to ruin an entire board. Recently some of those kinds of posters have found this board. Ideally, the posters would come in line with the tone of the board. That hasn't happened yet. It's not ever good to just rampantly ban trollish posters, but sometimes that has to be done or they will destroy a board. So, consider this forum lucky, as we seem to be somewhat insulated from what has been political policy for the two major political parties over the past decade.
But I guarantee that the nonsense being generated by those 5 posters is in direct correlation with marching orders from the political party behind their posting.
*disclaimer:
my guarantees aren't worth two cents, but they sound good, don't they?
If PJ hasn't been destroyed by the negative posters who have been here for years, I'm not concerned about any newcomers. The new rules currently put in place should keep the board running smoothly. All it takes is a few posters to ruin an entire board. Recently some of those kinds of posters have found this board. I didn't mention anything about "negative" posters. It's not "negative" posters that are destructive. We have plenty of those on both sides and the board is fine.If PJ hasn't been destroyed by the negative posters who have been here for years, I'm not concerned about any newcomers. Trollish posting is destructive posting. It is purposely destructive posting. If the new rules are consistently enforced those should take care of trolls once and for all. If not, then we will still have problems. It's just that simple.
I'm not optimistic. Trolls cling like nits to hair........fleas in a rug........ they are almost impossible to get rid of.
Agreed 100%
But with zero input from the administrators, maybe they want to toss the towel in??
You call a meeting and ask us all to participate and come up with ideas. Then give very little feedback on how it impacted the forum. It certainly isn’t that you’re doing anything wrong, nor am I the one that gets to decide that, but in my opinion, I believe it would be much more effective if there was follow-up and a dialogue that remained open.Zero input on what?
You two can't leave well enough alone.
?
I haven't been around enough to know, but wasn't these new rules the follow-up to your meeting? You call a meeting and ask us all to participate and come up with ideas. Just my 2-cents I wasn’t asked to give.
