Oh my God guy.1. how are the land owning male's votes weighted? I'm guessing equally.
2. "Direct democracy or pure democracy is a form of democracy in which people decide on policy initiatives directly. This differs from the majority of currently established democracies, which are representative democracies."
Where in this explanation do they discuss a constitution. You're obviously using the term wrong and you don't know what you're talking about.
Yes land owning males votes counted equally, non landbowning males votes and women's votes counted for nothing.
All citizens votes are NOT counted equally.
"Direct democracy or pure democracy is a form of democracy in which people decide on policy initiatives directly. This differs from the majority of currently established democracies, which are representative democracies."
See?
The terms direct democracy and representative democracy refer to WHAT is voted on, not how votes are valued.
Counting all votes equally is NOT endemic to direct democracy any more than it is endemic to representative democracy.
