I don't know. Are they not allowed to place a scholar?
of course they are!! i think they should have given them two, just to err on the side of fairness, unlike what the repubs did in the House when they impeached Clinton for getting an illegal blowjob. but, like trump voters says to democrats when they complain about trump gutting the EPA, or having a secretary of education who says flat earth arguments should be left for college level science courses, or about trump starting a policy of separating children from their parents at the border, some of whom are still not reunited with their parents, or trump appeasing his boyfriend Erdogan by giving him the green light to slaughter Kurds and take control of ISIS prisoners he is now threatening to let loose in Europe because of sanctions, ELECTIONS HAVE CONSEQUENCES.

boom. reality strikes. expediency and theater is just that.

strict proof is required.

at 1:00. also, allow it to play into the next video. he talks of lowering impeachment standards to fit a paucity of evidence. and... he voted against trump.

ouch.
This blew Twitter up like crazy. Basically 3 against one- and Turley was by far the best on that stage.

Obviously the least scripted.

Between the way scripted old hag and the pajama boy- Those 2 Turned America off.
People don't like radical leftists.

Blimpy Nadler didn't help either.

Turley The Democrat laid it out- perfectly.

Turley completely embarrassed himself. He vigorously supported impeaching Clinton for trying to conceal the blowjobs, and he says the House just “doesn’t have enough evidence” to impeach Trump for shaking down the Ukraine and then engaging in total obstruction to block the impeachment inquiries. The facts on those issues just couldn’t be more clear. He knows that Trump is just trying to run out the clock, but he advocated letting him do it.

Turley should slither back to his hole in shame.

Uh - It was perjury (which is illegal).

The content of how he perjured himself is irrelevant.

20+ years later and pent up frustrated leftists still focus on a sex act that had nothing to do with the legal process.

Hilarious.

He's a Democrat and yet he tells the truth. That is an anomaly in today's world. This may be the only time we see such a thing ever again.
Some “Democrat”...

On November 21, 2014, Turley agreed to represent House Speaker John Boehner and the Republican Party in a suit filed against the Obama administration alleging unconstitutional implementation of the Affordable Care Act, specifically the individual mandate.[42]

Turley is a centrist and straight shooter. And the fact that centrists are saying this shows us why Dems want to block Republican subpoenas. Exculpatory evidence and testimonies need not apply. Sounds like a legitimate inquiry advertised as just searching for the "truth".
Leave it to the leftist female hag professor to blow it.

Way too scripted- she was eating that microphone as SOON as the question stopped. Yes that screams SCRIPTED.

Let alone her past- her bias- and her vile hatred.

That's academia folks. Least democrats now have a scapegoat.

Actually he mentioned the Clinton impeachment. And stood by it. Since Perjury is illegal.

That's why Clinton was impeached.
Trump is also accused of perjury, and dozens of other offenses as well.

But that doesn’t matter to a contrarian hack like Turley, or Trump’s cultists.

Bottom line - the Republicans knew they could never find any respectable law professor to argue that the charges against Trump are not impeachable offenses, so they brought in Turley to help Trump and the GOP argue that the House should just let Trump run out the clock while he busily works to rig the next election.

No sale.

So, bottom line is, you just don't like the truth, no matter who tells it.

Guilt by accusation is not in the constitution.

He's a republican. LOL
I'm waiting for fair and balanced people here to post the statements of the other scholars....all as qualified to state their opinion as Turley. I'm watching the hearing. Pretty boring other than watching the Republicans trying to stall and still whining thatg it isn't "fair".
Turley was the most fair and balanced person that I've heard in a long time. The other 3 scholars were positively frightening. It's frightening to think that they're in a position to help mold the thinking of intelligent young people. It's terrible to think of how much money people pay to be taught by such narrow minded, vituperative individuals. Those people teach law and yet they were each ready to convict Trump on hearsay and assumptions. That is what is really frightening.

Said the guy who supports the “president” who ordered his people to defy all impeachment inquiry subpoenas for documents and testimony.

;-)
Jonathan Turley on "obstruction": "If you impeach a president -- if you make a high crime and misdemeanor out of going to the courts -- it IS an abuse of power. It's YOUR abuse of power. You are doing precisely what you're criticizing the president for doing."

Mic drop- kaboom- game over- pass go- do not collect 200.

He's a Pragmatic Democrat.

A rare bird these days.

Who are the “crazed” who made Trump order his people to defy impeachment inquiry subpoenas requiring testimony and documents?
As you must know by now the law is not clear on that, that is the office of the President is within its constitutional authority to do so.

This is correct. He is also a registered Democrat. Which makes this morning's news cycle rather challenging as the media does not know exactly how to cast him
