Trump threatens on Twitter to start shooting Americans

Can publishers not ban consevatives?
Sure they can, but they can't if they are a neutral platform therefore they have liability protection. The problem for Twitter, one they have now been called out on is that they currently behave as if they can do both.. they cannot and keep their liability protections.

Perhaps this is too nuanced for you.

When individuals get crowbars and start prying open doors to loot, they're not protesting. They're not making a statement. They're stealing. When they burn down a building, they're committing arson. And they're destroying and undermining businesses and opportunities in their own communities. That robs jobs and opportunity from people in that area.
Absolutely. The rioting is dead wrong. It’s fine to call for vigorous law enforcement to end it. It’s horrifying to make the first response threats to shoot people down in the streets.

Sure, make them a publisher. I think that's a great idea. Fastest way to Trump landing a star account at Gab.com

Think about how kooky that is - one does not encourage the publishing of controversial content by making the publishers liable for it. The opposite is true. Making platforms like Twitter liable for the content would ensure that people like Trump are not given access to the platform.

By kicking out him out of Twitter's house?
The first amendment doesn't give anyone the right to a twitter account.

Na, It's Twitter's house, they can kick out anyone they want. Trump is free to go out on his front lawn and make all bullshit claims he wants.
yeah..no body said there was a right to one..

they can. which i guess is the point, like someone said above.. publisher or bill board..

pretty much. yes. the violence is inherent to the rights afforded the police and the military in such circumstances. he didnt need to deliver the message that way..

You do understand that it's not just Trump they would now be liable for correct?

Nope. Again, Twitter and other platforms allow public officials like Trump to get away with more than ordinary citizens. They don’t even delete his post threatening to shoot Americans. Any other user would be banned for that.
What post?

It's the 60's all over again and you want more dead black folk.Tsk...Tsk!
