and many will probably will laugh. I look around, see the news, and wonder why. When did we forget the words of John F Kennedy, or the charge he gave Americans in 1961.

And so, my fellow Americans: ask not what your country can do for you — ask what you can do for your country.

My fellow citizens of the world: ask not what America will do for you, but what together we can do for the freedom of man.

For those too young to know, these words can be read here. https://www.ushistory.org/documents/ask-not.htm

When I was young, I grew up knowing the sacrifice made by those who came before me. My father, who was a Staff Sgt in the Army, unfit for combat due to WWII, he served as an instructor during Korea. My mothers brothers, all who wore the Army uniform during WWII, my one uncle whose back was so badly scarred he looked like the surface of the moon. One uncle received the Bronze Star in Korea. My two cousins were Marines, my older brothers were Army. I can't help but think every one of them must be rolling over in their graves at the sight of America today, because all they see is partisan politics; as if service to the country is nothing more than a football game. I think of the kids I went to school with, many of them who 'Gave All'.

Then I see a video of Sgt Christiana Bell singing a song, and those in the audience in uniform. Why? Nobody cares anymore, they'd rather take their liberties for granted. There's no working together, no working across the aisle; for too many of them just want to fatten their wallets. There's very few who choose to serve, let someone else do it.

America as a country will always be great, it's only land, it's the majority of the people who suck.

Ok, you can rant and cuss at me, I don't give a f--k.

Change gonna come? When will America see the truth, change it's attitude of "race"? I hate that word, it's as if there isn't a human race but a variety of races among the human race, some less deserving of equality. To understand this one must look back at American history, and a good place to start is with the man who penned "all men are created equal." Did Thomas Jefferson really mean that, or was it simply a platitude that seems to be accepting to some. The Smithsonian published an interesting article on the man Jefferson, and it's a stark view of how the man really felt. How could a man really believe those words, and yet own 600 slaves, profit of their toil, and create an unimaginable 'legacy' for himself. As Moncure Conway put it:

The Virginia abolitionist Moncure Conway, noting Jefferson’s enduring reputation as a would-be emancipator, remarked scornfully, “Never did a man achieve more fame for what he did not do.”

America, we can't continue to do nothing.

People continue to use terms, such as "Leftist" or "Lefty's". As an example, there were 40 people arrested in Detroit Monday night. At least 24 of them were from outside of Detroit, such as Clarkston and places like Alpena, and even out of state. These people looted stores, started fires, and attempted to attack the police, they even used railroad spikes to attack the police. Many of the protestors even subdued these troublemakers and held them until the police could arrest them.

I don't know what their agenda was, or if it was a concerted effort of some organization. Perhaps it was to show Detroit is nothing but a city of criminals, that "minorities" were 'bad', but it didn't work. I hate the term minority as well, as if someone is 'less' if he isn''t white. The residents of Detroit wouldn't allow them to derail their peaceful protest. Perhaps they like the idea a black man was killed by cops, and derailing the protest was their way for this sort of incident, George Floyd, would continue. I don't know, I just know it didn't work.

Putting a partisan spin on this issue is not the solution, it continues to perpetuate the problem. This is not, I say it again, this is not a right or a left problem, this is a human nature problem. "Man" has to change.

As far as the "minority" thing goes, I hate the use of 'minority" in government forms. Before the influx of European immigrants, the minority on this continent was white. Just a thought to put the perspective of "minorities" in it's proper place. "Minority" means very little unless people use it to belittle other peoples.
