Yeah, HE’s moronic. Too bad he’s right and your skepticism is totally misplaced.
Addy, wrong as always.

Leakers to the New York Times confirmed in a story published on Wednesday that the FBI had run a spy operation on the Trump campaign that involved government informants, secret subpoenas, and possible wiretaps.
The story comes ahead of the release of the pending Department of Justice inspector general report on the FBI’s actions during the 2016 election, and likely is an attempt by the leakers to paint the FBI’s efforts in the most flattering light possible.
Do you have a link for the NYT story?

I've searched for it, Addy. They said the NY Times published it on Wednesday, but all the links go back to Breitbart...It may be there, but I can't find it.

I can't find any NEW YORK TIMES story from Wednesday that said anything like that. Where's your link?

Maybe he'll respond later. May be away from the computer since his post was from a few hours ago. When I googled several sites stated that...but none of them linked NY Times and mostly linked back to Breitbart. Strange.

Thanks Nina. Maybe he will provide us with the link later. :)

Marv's link to the NYT gave a much better assessment of how this played out...and how it actually benefitted Trump. It's a lengthy read but very revealing. Thanks for the link, Marv.
====================================================
The facts, had they surfaced, might have devastated the Trump campaign: Mr. Trump’s future national security adviser was under investigation, as was his campaign chairman. One adviser appeared to have Russian intelligence contacts. Another was suspected of being a Russian agent himself.

In the Clinton case, Mr. Comey has said he erred on the side of transparency. But in the face of questions from Congress about the Trump campaign, the F.B.I. declined to tip its hand. And when The New York Times tried to assess the state of the investigation in October 2016, law enforcement officials cautioned against drawing any conclusions, resulting in a story that significantly played down the case.

Mr. Comey has said it is unfair to compare the Clinton case, which was winding down in the summer of 2016, with the Russia case, which was in its earliest stages. He said he did not make political considerations about who would benefit from each decision.

Yes it did. Maybe that's why DINO didn't post it.

It's over. Mueller announced he can't and won't indict Trump. End of the line. Mueller got rich(er), the fakestream media got their higher ratings, the country gets Trump as president instead of Hillary (thank God), and you got fvcked in the a$$. LOL!
Mueller announced no such thing. Giuliani claimed he was told that by Mueller ... and it may well be true ... Mueller may share the broadly held opinion that Trump can't be indicted no matter what the evidence about him is ... which of course says nothing about whether Trump engaged in criminal wrongdoing.

You think the FBI was so eager to announce its baseless overreaches and missteps?
In the old days when even liberal journalists had ethics and paid no attention to the party line, these actions by the FBI would be highly scandalous.
Now placing informants and surveillance on a presidential campaign is considered fair dinkum by the banana republic left. Deplorable.

So you'll be letting presidential candidate Leonard Peltier out of prison any day now, right?
