A Fetus AT 6 Weeks, Possible Heartbeat, Vs. What Repubs Think A 6-Week Fetus Looks Like

These are the caretakers and lovers of trees who can’t admit a living thing inside a woman matters or has rights. Figure that one out.
that is the whole point!! until about 22 weeks of development, the fetus is not alive....no human being is alive absent a functioning brain and central nervous system...there is no consciousness, no feeling, no awareness...it is not alive...get it?

Wow, you know science!
It’s not a “human being”. It’s a fertilized egg, an embryo, it becomes a fetus. A fetus is certainly living. Fetal development begins at about nine weeks and continues until the child is born.
The operative word is “living” not fetus or human being.

A woman can feel the baby move as early as 13 weeks. It is ALIVE.

it is just as alive at this stage as it is when the sperm first fertilizes the egg.....if republicans think it is okay to "kill" a fetus before a heartbeat at 6 weeks, how are they more moral than anyone who is pro-choice up to the point the fetus actually becomes alive, once a functioning brain and central nervous system develops, and consciousness first occurs?

I can't speak for them, and I agree with you.
Just think everyone ought to call it what is

Science confirms Human Life begins at conception.

The OP is a Flat-Earther science denier.

Countdown until the science denier attacks the scientists..............3....2.......

The American College of Pediatricians concurs with the body of scientific evidence that corroborates that a unique human life starts when the sperm and egg bind to each other in a process of fusion of their respective membranes and a single hybrid cell called a zygote, or one-cell embryo, is created.

duh. life begins at conception, if uninterrupted, it will evolve into a human being with a functioning brain and central nervous system. But it is not alive at conception. Those are two different things. Is a freshly laid egg alive? Is it a chicken, if laid by a chicken? Is it the same morally to drop a freshly laid egg into a pot of boiling water as it is to force a live chicken into a pot of boiling water? The difference is in consciousness...that is what makes us alive, makes animals alive....and before there is consciousness, there is no life, just the possibility of life if nothing changes.

So, the way you deny science is by claiming “life” isn’t “alive”.

Got it.

I believe every Planned Parenthood supporter, worker, patient knows full well the incredibly difficult choice some women make to end a pregnancy, and it is not a decision taken lightly, or without any consideration that it does end the development of a fetus who is most likely to become a human being, with a functioning brain and central nervous system, with consciousness, feelings and a viable chance of living autonomously outside the mother's womb. No one is pro-abortion...why would anyone want somebody else to have an abortion? That doesn't make any sense at all. But everyone should be pro-choice. Such a decision can only be made by the woman involved, since at the time she can make this legal, discretionary decision about her own body, THERE IS NO OTHER HUMAN INVOLVED BUT HERSELF.

Mostly agree. Though it is a decision involving three Humans, typically. One of which doesn't make it

that is not a baby. it cannot think, it cannot feel, it is less conscious than even the most ignorant trump voter.
It's a baby. It has a beating heart. It is a living human being. Your graphic is deliberately inaccurate. The nervous system and brain are developing. It doesn't matter that it cannot survive outside the womb. That doesn't make it any less human. "It's a parasite", you say. So what? So are you, right now. You cannot survive without the oxygen, and water, and food provided by the earth. You began life as a parasite and will remain one as long as you live.
The most basic argument about abortion is this simple: "if a woman it wants it, it's a baby. If she doesn't, it's 'tissue.'" That is bs. It is always a living human being, whatever stage of development it's at. That includes already born humans at various stages of development into adulthood and beyond. Human development is a continuum, and we remain parasites. And no, we do not think a six week baby is a fully formed pre-born baby.

life begins is a simple fact at the time of conception...geezus, who argues it does not? i don't even get why you think this is some kind of valid argument- who doesn't know a human being started becoming a human being at the moment of conception? you are acting like this is front page news!! but a human being is not alive absent a functioning brain and central nervous system, that is also a scientific fact. therefore, a six week old fetus that has developed a heartbeat is still not alive, by the very definiton of what being alive means medically. people can be kept alive using an artificial heart UNTIL the brain dies, then they die. what part of that do you not understand?

Frankly, you do not know that. Doctors say a fetus can feel pain, and does feel the pain of being ripped apart by an abortion. How ethical is that?

no, you are clearly wrong. period. no human being is alive absent a functioning brain. PERIOD...that is the only criteria. not a heartbeat, not a liver, not a kidney, not eyelids. A FUNCTIONING BRAIN...period. you can spew all the crazy ass bullshit you want but it does not change medical and biological facts...you are stating obvious facts that no one denies, that a human life BEGINS at conception, obviously, but you ignore the other medical fact, IT IS NOT ALIVE UNTIL IT DEVELOPS A FUNCTIONING BRAIN AND CENTRAL NERVOUS SYSTEM AND IS CONSCIOUS, AND AT THAT POINT VIABLE OUTSIDE THE MOTHER'S WOMB.

So, all the animals who have no brain are not alive?

why waste the time? you obviously do not have the brain cells to get the simile. just keep thinking your simple thoughts in your simple world. you are not designed to understand anything as complicated as the evolution of life within the womb, from 1/8" embryo with no organs at all, to a viable human being at least 20 weeks later, with a functioning brain and central nervous system, capable of thought, having consciousness.
