Ya know Addy, I think I will pass, not liking it like I thought I would. You start another and I'm sure there will be many that will be happy to join in.
N/P, Lil.. Haiku is fun to write IMO.. And I will try to write more, learning the style as I go -- but it will probably be kept private..
Had to take a lunch break.. just on for a short while..
Addy if you enjoy, don't keep it private, I just could not get with it. I'll post on your thread but not with a poem. I enjoy my camera and as much as I thought I would this, I have to admit no. Don't let me discourage you in the least, you have a real talent for it.
You haven't discouraged me, Lil. Thanks for the compliment.. Doubtful I have any talent though! Just a means of expressing feelings!

Sandy is no longer with us, she passed on to the better world. Years ago, when my son was in middle school, they did assignments in haiku and I shared my son's haiku with Sandy, and Sandy wrote posts to Daniel encouraging him.
From what I remember, haiku is the art of descriptive words used in pattern, like painting a picture with words. the 5-7-5 syllable rhythm is the basic step, and just like any dance, you can get more complicated, but you have to stay in step.
I enjoyed your offerings in this thread, and smiled at every word.
