Who is the one deflecting here ? Never heard you say a word about press salaciousness during those intervening decades, not until your right wing leader has been caught with said, pants down by document disclosures.

I blame lefty parents for such terrible character formation. As I noted to Julie previously, if you guys hate Trump so much...why do you adopt so many of his behaviors and mimic his character?

I am convinced lefty just wants the lowest common denominator across society as a whole. You crave a cesspool.

I don't believe I have ever said I hated Trump. I know who Trump is and the danger he represents. I am certainly bothered by the hypocritical defenses for Trump's behavior like this one. But I don't hate Trump. I tried to warn you people away from him. Now you try to blame him on the other side.

For one thing the people who wanted to expose it weren't lying about it, he was. His lying is what blew this thing up in the press. Remember, in presidential politics, it's always the cover up that lead to the downfall.

Well, your side delivered Hillary as candidate (so terrible even Trump could beat her). The other side brought us Trump. I voted for Johnson.

That said, though, terrible conduct (of Trump or Bill Clinton) isn't the subject -- media jumping the shark is. They did not jump the shark when Clinton was using intern private parts in the Oval Office as his own personal humidor. They did go off the deep end in this current iteration of disgraceful president.

This cannot be argued otherwise. It simply did not happen before.

Why do you Trump defenders keep bringing up Hillary Clinton ? You did what you wanted to do despite the months of warnings about Trump. Now we have what your (all of you) actions brought about, and contribute to with your attempts to shift blame to those that tried to prevent this, Hillary and her voters included.

Trump as POTUS LIED about his actions. Now as I stated when this story surfaced it showed he would go great lengths to hide his conduct. and that it opens up the question about him having been blackmailed by the Kremlin in regards to his prior sexual conduct. So when it comes to whether or not the nation has been compromised at its highest level, the media would be derelict in it's duty if it did not cover every aspect of this allegation.

The fact that you and I have heard descriptions of Bill Clinton's penis means that the media went far beyond this, long ago, in a presidency far, far less scandalous than the current.

BTW ... the Repblicans had the option of selecting any one of a dozen dignified, competent Republicans to run against Clinton ... but they preferred Trump.

Human nature is what it is; it doesn't change for people who take elected office.

The Democrats choose to see the flaws in human nature only when it suits them.

They are forever struggling to find the moral High Ground where they have free from Blame and everyone else is to blame for everything.

Too bad for them such a place does not exist.
