And that is exactly what affirmative action tends to prevent from happening. Basically, instead of a Black person having to be 3 times as good as a white person to win a competition, with affirmative action they only have to be 1-1/2 times as good.
I never claimed they were free market capitalists. Although they certainly were not socialists, i provided several citations proving that, i also cited the fact they carried out a massive privatization program.

You can make up any excuse you want, but between colleges outright discriminating against white and Asian students, and the recent revamping of the SAT to include a discrimination modifier, colleges have all but written off superior students for students that fit the right racial boxes.

But the test scores don't predict superior students. That is why universities are moving away from standardized tests.Not by race, which seems to be the fascist way.

But Blacks on average do better their first semester in college than whites with SAT scores 70 points higher.
Not to mention, whites are twice as likely to get into their first-choice schools with substandard grades and test scores as Blacks are.
