I have the book but it seems the video doesn't talk about some parts of the book

At a coupla annual symposiums I attend here in Texas,I have seen a used book vendor with a book on that subject for sale but haven't purchased it yet. My stack of unread books is already quite unmanageable. I'm doing good to read 12-15 books a year. I'm not doing so good purchasing less than that many a year. 
Might have to break that video up into 3o minute segments to watch all of it but I'm gonna check it out. I only recall seeing maybe a handful of passing references on that subject in less than a handful of books I've read. Pretty sure those books were about CW Louisiana too,particularly New Orleans.

Very interesting subject but the book also goes into detail on how union soldiers treated black females and how the military courts dealt with their crimes
