Not to mention the costs of executive profits, drug company profits, insurance company profits, food contractor profits, kickbacks to building trades bosses, advertising, anti-labor goons, bribing Senators, hush money for the ballooning number of victims of speed up/skeleton crew-related malpractice, and promoting tobacco, red meat, alcohol, sugar, guns, and war to guarantee steady business. Somehow most rich countries and some poor ones still manage to provide more doctors per person at low or no cost to the consumer and at less cost to the taxpayer.
