Boise lost a good friend yesterday morning

A brief return from my self-imposed exile to honor Micron CEO Steve Appleton who crashed at Boise Airport yesterday flying one of his high performance kit planes.

One of the truly good guys- man's man, innovator, thrill-seeker, competitive athlete, friend to the community and a huge Boise State benefactor.

He was a great one, Bo. I worked at Micron for 7 1/2 years. He was the CEO every business should have....an unbelievably nice guy.
