CAIR Mouthpiece Laila Abdelaziz Silences the Critics - With the Hate Card

Most PJ members are probably not Florida residents, and thus don't see the PBS TV show Florida This Week. It's basically a Florida version of Meet the Press. I was stunned to see a member of the Tampa area CAIR, sitting with respected journalists and given time to talk to the public. Oh, free speech you might say ? Well, free speech is not accorded to members of groups that the US officially designates as terrorist organizations. But the US doesn't list CAIR as a terrorist organization, even though federal judges declared CAIR an unindicted co-conspirator in the Holy Land Foundation terrorist-funding trial of 2008, that sent HLF leaders to prison for life.

Laila Abdelaziz is an Islamist, and being a member of CAIR ( a top Muslim Brotherhood front group) one could well deduce a jihadist as well. Just being from CAIR (declared a terrorist org by the UAE) ought to be a disqualification for TV news shows, but Abdelaziz has more negative baggage than that.

Abdelaziz was previously in Emerge USA, a politically active Islamist group whose goal is to place radical Muslims into positions of influence and power. The head of Emerge, Khurrum Wahid, who previously served as a legal advisor for CAIR, is a South Florida attorney who has built a name for himself by representing high profile terrorists. His past clients include: Rafiq Sabir, who received a 25 year prison sentence for conspiring to provide material support to al-Qaeda; Ahmed Omar Abu Ali, who was given a life sentence for being a member of al-Qaeda and for plotting to assassinate President George W. Bush; and deported Palestinian Islamic Jihad leader Sami al-Arian.

Palestinian by birth, Abdelaziz has consistently denounced Israel and America's policies of aid to them, and supported attacks against Israel. No surprise that on the FTW show yesterday, she claimed that the US govt had found no connection between Orlando jihadist killer Omar Mateen and ISIS. Problem is the FBI unredacted those claims a few days earlier, revealing Mateen's pledge of allegiance to ISIS leader al Baghdadi. And when challenged by panel members about criticisms against CAIR, she followed the typical CAIR routine of dodging the criticism substance, and silencing the critics by going straight to the hate card and invalidation card. She labeled the groups mentioned as "hate groups", like we're all supposed to be satisfied with that. Invalidation is hard-wired into Islamists. Ho hum.

I could write hundreds of pages of real, well-deserved dirt on CAIR right here, but it would be far too much for an OP. Suffice it to say, CAIR is a Muslim Brotherhood front group that ought to be banned in the US, and designated as a terrorist organization, as along with ISIS, al-Qaeda and Boko Haram, CAIR (Council on American-Islamic Realtions) is listed as a terrorist organization by United Arab Emirates (UAE), and they aren't even on the American continent.

Shame on PBS for allowing someone from CAIR on their show. Apparently sedition is not a disqualification from PBS.
