The whole concept of a royal family is repugnant to most Americans, I believe, although there are many high brows who seem to want to emulate the British. Many tried to make the inbred Kennedys our royal family just by calling theem that and referring to the JFK tenure as Camelot. But the British Royals are a wart on the ass of the british people. They do nothing to earn their keep. They serve no discernible purpose and yet they are practically worshipped as if they were gods.I should imagine that there are many reasons why.

Lol I do understand and it really does not bother me what anyone else thinks, or indeed, thinks that they understand about our history and or the structure of or the concept of our Monarchical democracy.
For any American to imagine that I am not aware of how many Americans think about the Monarch and or Britain after all my years of posting in a US form is naive and or daft.
But --- what ever my thoughts or feelings are about our Monarchy they are irrelevant to the fact that for some reason, Winston is impelled to post pics of the Royals, either dead or alive or, in Princess Di's case, dying, instead of using words, against my argument, in any discussion that I am involved in as well as telling me that I have no right to post here because I am English ---

The whole concept of birth privileges is anti-American. Hating the royals and not having a problem with our own HeirHead dominance is a pride-saving contradiction.
Cut those brats off at age 18; let them suffer under a college lifestyle that is the same as a teenager who's afraid to grow up, which is the aristocracy's unfunded mandate for the rest of us. There is no reason that the son of a millionaire shouldn't have the same chance of winding up as a blue-collar worker that the son of a blue-collar worker has. Conversely, leftover wealth should go to finance the most talented of the next generation, from childhood on, and not to spoiled mediocrities to set them up far above what they would achieve without that undeserved privilege.

The problem with that is, who decides who is the most talented of the next generation that gets the free money that was stolen from the millionaire who was not allowed to leave it to his family after he worked all his life to accumulate it?
What if the most talented of the next generation is the grandson or granddaughter of the politician who is in charge of making the slection of the most talented of the next generation.
No, if a man leaves a nest egg when he passes on, it is his money not the governments. If he chose to leave his millions to his fat, lazy, pot smoking son, who sits on the couch all day long playing on his X-Box, that is the man's right.
If the most talented of the next generation is the son or daughter of a ditch digger then there should be government or privately sponsored programs to help that person excel...for the benefit of society as a whole. But it should not be with money stolen from an unwilling citizen.
