What you want to do is compare your little itty bitty home improve project to drilling through a 2 to 3 foot thick, rebar reinforced poured concrete walls.

Notice the thickness of these walls. They have no buttressing meaning the bottom must have a lot of rebar and meaning that the wall footing must go a good number of feet underground. So stop shoveling the bullshit.

Just to be clear...there are tools that will cut through solid concrete as well as concrete block.

That's not a concrete wall nor does it have reinforced rebar.

Not to mention the size and weight of a 30 feet extension ladder.

The bottom line to this thread is Nancy Pelosi saying "not one dollar" for a wall that might prevent just one more dead cop or citizen, a rape, or drugs and disease being spread among our young people.

The bitch doesn't give a rat's ass about the welfare of Americans....not one f'kn dollars worth.

Any obstacle can be breached. But the harder it is to do, the longer it takes, and the more equipment that is required to do it, the fewer the people who will make the attempt, and even fewer will be successful. The delay involved in breaching the obstacle also gives people on the opposite side time to react.
(Everybody knows and understands this; anyone who claims different is either retarded or working an angle and pushing an agenda. None of the rest of us are dumb enough to believe your dishonest horseshit so do us all a favor and quit insulting our intelligence by shoveling it up.)

America doesn’t want a wall. Polling shows weak support in the low 40% range, just like trump’s approval rating.

Why bother cutting through a wall when there are almost 1000 miles open area? So you build 200 miles or so, then we have 800 + miles of open area. Think of this as if you stick a 2x4 in a running creek - the water flows around the board right. I still ask what about people overstaying their work visa's, Canadian border, airports and ships carrying terrorists and immigrants - does this 200 miles of new wall stop them.

And again, why didn't he push for this the last 2 years when he had full control ? He should have pushed for this wall when the "caravan" was coming right but he didn't. If he gets the wall what will he campaign on, get the crowd to chant in 2020?

So say he takes money from disaster relief and military - they then have to get land rights - correct. So as landowner would you want a wall and 50 ft buffer area in your backyard - oh wait it isn't your land so who gives a sheot - right?

25,000 people a month is a lot of people coming in - probably way to many for me. Do you want to know a good way to stop that influx, sentence an employer to 1 year in prison for every illegal they hire - problem solved - they won't come if there isn't any work or money for them. Just think of all those meat packing plants that will close, all those vegetable farmers with crops going unharvested, heck all those Golden Corrals with no cooks!

This whole shutdown is 2 parties trying to save face and not compromise all the while the public suffers - ever wonder why the congress/ senate/ govt. has such a low public opinion. Why as a new college grad would you want to work for the govt. nowadays? The military is already falling short of their needed numbers and when they become pawns of political chess pieces who wants to join.

So both parties are to blame, who will start a 3rd party - a libertarian based theme - seems ripe for the pickings doesn't it ?

What MV lacks in common sense he makes up for with his amazing grasp of engineering and mathematics........

NO WAIT! He doesn't grasp them either!

    Let's noodle this out.

You'd need between 19-20 2x4's to complete your ladder if you only made one foot wide rungs. Nevermind the fact that a one foot wide 50 foot tall ladder would NEVER stand on it's own let alone would it support the weight of a 5 year old child ......just ignore those glaring deficiencies for a minute.

You'd need to lay 6 1/4 standard 2×4's end to end to come up with one side of your new 50 foot ladder. Then you'd have to duplicate that for the other side of you new 50 foot ladder.

Here's the tricky part that none of our border breaking leftist engineers fail to take into account......how would you/could you fasten the 2x4's together that would form the rails or the main support for the ladder???

Gonna glue them together? How about screw them together? I don't think nails would be strong enough to work. What about welding them together? No you can't weld wood.

I know! Make brackets! Yeah that's the ticket! Maybe you could make extra long, extra thick, extra heavy duty steel brackets to join the 2x4's together. You'd just need to have those made in advance so you'd have them on hand to build your ladder after crossing the desert and arriving at the wall.

Then once your ladder is built you have to stand it up. I think this will be the biggest challenge. You now have a ladder will weigh a minimum of 450+ pounds. The weight if the lumber will be 350 pounds give or take a couple. Then you've got the weight of the steel brackets and screws. I think 100 pounds is a modest number but we'll go with that just for the sake of argument.

So now you have a 50 foot ladder that weighs just under 500 pounds and somehow you gotta stand it up without it breaking or buckling or cracking ........

An army of illegal aliens couldn't pull that off! It physically couldn't be done by men alone. I doubt a crane could raise that ladder. It would break in half before getting off the ground.

But this is what our leftist forum members and media tell us would happen if a wall were to be built.

P.S. Just an FYI.... The cost if the lumber alone exceeds $70 @middleview

Maybe Jim Acosta could demonstrate how he would get past a wall.

    :)

Note: I don't think a wall stops illegal immigration. It may or may not help but until someone has a better solution, it seems worth a try in certain places.

Maybe biased left wing hack polls like CNN or NPR.
Out here where REAL Americans live, work and pay taxes, Trump is the best president of all time.

So far, the wall has STOPPED illegals 100 percent of the time it was tried. There are vast desert areas in the southern border with ZERO barriers to stop the vermin from coming in. But you'll notice those animals from Honduras were stopped cold in Tijuana. They even tried to use CHILDREN as human shields and did not make it past the wall.

It WORKS everywhere it has been tried.
