CNN's tanking ratings give it a credibility crisis.

Is it just that you are running on fumes or is it that you just aren't very bright?

The question was basically why no indictment. I simply pointed out that you cannot indict a sitting president. You'd have to impeach him first before he could be charged with a crime.

By the way....what crime did the republicans decide to impeach Clinton for?
Which crimes did Bill or Hillary commit that they did not charge the Clintons with? *Note there are at least three.*

I've said a few times before; I'll say it again: Anyone who watches and/or believes CNN is a edited moron.

CNN mired in a credibility crisis as ratings continue to collapse, experts say
CNN is suffering a credibility crisis as viewership for the once-proud network continues to crater with no apparent plan in place to fix things anytime soon, according to media watchdogs and insiders.

CNN’s audience shriveled in the second quarter of 2019, averaging only 541,000 total viewers, less than half Fox News Channel’s 1.3 million average. But CNN struggled even more during the primetime hours of 8-11 p.m. ET, finishing as the fifteenth most-watched network on basic cable behind networks such as TLC, Investigation Discovery and the Hallmark Channel. CNN averaged a dismal 761,000 primetime viewers while FNC averaged 2.4 million.

The Hill media guru Joe Concha told Fox News that CNN's freefall may not be slowing.

Basically, CNN is kinda like the liberal circle jerk here: A massive KKK rally of hate, hatred of America and of President Donald Trump.
At least with CNN around, you have the bottom of the barrel to compare other actual news sources with.

So this is what you use to justify CNN's lying?
Okay then. It's clear you don't mind being fed lies.
According to CNN recent ratings plummet.........some people don't want to be lied to.

If other networks (Fox included) consistently lie, their ratings will also plummet.
You and those like you will keep watching because you are apparently fine with the lies because some court in 2003 said it was okay.
That is what Fox used as an argument in court to justify their own lies...

For example:

“Facts First

Fact-checking Trump’s tweet about Hillary Clinton email review”.

Trump’s tweet stated:

Wow! The State Department said it has identified 30 Security Incidents involving current or former employees and their handling of Crooked Hillary Clinton’s Emails. @FoxNews This is really big. Never admitted before. Highly Classified Material. Will the Dems investigate this?

CNN’s “Facts First” asserted:

“It is true that the State Department recently told Congress about 30 incidents it had found as part of an ongoing security review, but the information is not entirely new, and there’s no telling how egregious those lapses were. There was no mention of “highly classified material” in a letter the agency sent to a senior Republican senator earlier this month.”

’s “Facts” were deceptive and misleading.

In claiming the information “is not entirely new” —CNN reported:

The FBI has previously said that of the 30,000 emails Clinton provided to the State Department from her server back in 2014, 110 contained classified information at the time they were sent or received. Of those, eight of the email chains contained information classified as “top secret” at the time they were sent or received and 36 chains contained “secret” information.”

CNN omitted a few pertinent details contained in FBI Director Comey’s statement:

“From the group of 30,000 e-mails returned to the State Department, 110 e-mails in 52 e-mail chains have been determined by the owning agency to contain classified information at the time they were sent or received. Eight of those chains contained information that was Top Secret at the time they were sent; 36 chains contained Secret information at the time; and eight contained Confidential information, which is the lowest level of classification. Separate from those, about 2,000 additional e-mails were “up-classified” to make them Confidential; the information in those had not been classified at the time the e-mails were sent.

The FBI also discovered several thousand work-related e-mails that were not in the group of 30,000 that were returned by Secretary Clinton to State in 2014. We found those additional e-mails in a variety of ways. Some had been deleted over the years and we found traces of them on devices that supported or were connected to the private e-mail domain. Others we found by reviewing the archived government e-mail accounts of people who had been government employees at the same time as Secretary Clinton, including high-ranking officials at other agencies, people with whom a Secretary of State might naturally correspond.

“This helped us recover work-related e-mails that were not among the 30,000 produced to State. Still others we recovered from the laborious review of the millions of e-mail fragments dumped into the slack space of the server decommissioned in 2013.

With respect to the thousands of e-mails we found that were not among those produced to State, agencies have concluded that three of those were classified at the time they were sent or received, one at the Secret level and two at the Confidential level. There were no additional Top Secret e-mails found. Finally, none of those we found have since been “up-classified.”

The big news is that the Department of State has assessed culpability to 15 individuals - some of whom were culpable in multiple security incidents.

CNN’s reported prime time ratings decline of 16% last month seems set to continue.

Clearly, CNN engaged in deceptive reporting. And, clearly, people are aware of it. Hence, the ratings.
