Colorado Christian cakeshop sued a third time for discrimination

And then there is the constitution and religious freedom. But even that is beside the point. There used to be a standard where, if you didn't agree with what someone was doing, you stepped back and didn't participate.

The new standard, set by fascists, is now, you must not only participate, but you have to do it with a smile on your face. I am so glad that this baker is kicking fascist ass in court. :)
Again, you seem to think that “religious freedom” gives the owner a blanket right to pick and choose what laws he will follow, whether laws prohibiting discrimination against gays or Blacks, laws requiring you to maintain health standards, or laws prohibiting child labor.

You claimed that it is “fascist slavery” when you “force someone to do something by force of law that they did not want to do.” But every law does that.
Not true, most laws are designed to keep you from actively doing something. This baker is being attacked for actively NOT doing something.

Too bad that's not what happened. Or would you have us believe the baker refused to bake the cake for the sole purpose of stigmatizing homosexuals? Hopefully, you realize the silliness of your assertion.
That is the only explanation I have ever seen for his actions. Of course he put a different spin on it, but it amounts to the same thing.

Actually, if the law violates a person's religious freedom, then it does. It also means the law is unconstitutional, which is why this baker is kicking fascist ass in court. :)

Religious freedom means the government doesn’t tell you what to believe or pass laws to punish you for believing as you do.

It does not mean that you can arbitrarily exempt yourself from laws that have a rational purpose which have nothing to do with your religious beliefs because you believe those laws are not what you think God wants them to be.

If the law, as you say, punish you for believing as you do, then they are unconstitutional. The baker believes that gay marriage is a sin against his God, and he believes his immortal soul is in danger if he participates. THAT'S HIS BELIEF.

No, you're lying again. It's about HIS religious beliefs.

Yup. So a law forcing him to get gay married would probably be unconstitutional. Luckily no one has proposed one.

The intent of Colorado’s anti-discrimination law is not to punish people with racist, sexist, or homophobic religious beliefs, but to protect people from discrimination. If he believes that selling a menu item to a same-sex couple is a sin, he is in the wrong line of work. But no one is forcing him to be a baker.

Are gay wedding cakes a menu item? You'll have to show me that menu.

And forcing a person to lend their creative talents and time to a ceremony they believe is a mortal sin is forcing him to participate. Especially if he is lending his company's name to it.

Fortunately, the founders did not leave it to fascists to determine what a person should or should not believe, and protected the right for a person to decide for themselves.
