obviously that is not all anyone knew at the time.

As soon as the rockets hit the military knew there were injuries and within the first couple of hours they would have known the basic nature and extent of those injuries.

The fact that the president said there were no inuries and then days later said there were "some headaches" proves that he was either lying or that he really doesn't give a sh*t and didn't bother to hear the reports which I am sure he had available to him almost imediately.
