Soleimani had approved the attacks on the U.S.’s Baghdad embassy in the days before his death, the U.S. Department of Defense said in a statement confirming U.S. responsibility for the general’s death.
The Pentagon said Soleimani was also “actively developing plans to attack American diplomats and service members in Iraq and throughout the region.”
“General Soleimani and his Quds Force were responsible for the deaths of hundreds of American and coalition service members and the wounding of thousands more,” the statement added.

and half of those were returned to full duty in iraq, a few were flown back tothe US and the others are still being evaluated in germany and kuwait
and, as a retired soldier i can guarantee you that out of those 17 RTD, at least 2 were just trying to get the hell out of the country... who could blame them? why let a bad thing go to waste? we used to call them 'permanent profiles (medical condition exempting you from some duties)'
they know that anyone in this situation could say they "think" they may have a head injury from the shockwave..how do you not send them for eval if your the medic or pa on that base?
