So much information is being left out from the things that our young people are being taught that what seems to be stupidity is by design. It's all just part of the programming to make everyone easier to control.
Perfect! Stupidity by design, QT you are a winner.

Are people there calling for the Queen to put the matter to rest ?
Some are but this question of Royal assent vs the Queens consent now is not about asking the Queen to make any decisions but about procedure - T May by - passed the need for Royal assent when asking for an extension to Art 50 - I am not sure that I can explain it adequately but the arguments are about that not being possible again not, for the moment, about the Monarch having the last word.

Apart from the fact that your poll does not represent the truth - by our constitution, by law, the will of the people to leave the EU must be implemented first. If a Gov thereafter asked us if we wanted to rejoin and we said yes that is a different matter.
You didn't open the link, obviously.

It was not one poll it was all of them.

Take a look first, then get back to me.

By the way, it seems the majority realized it was a mistake.

Mistakes can and should be fixed.

Self-determination is not self-harm except to the most twisted of tyrants. A majority of folks voted to exit the EU. The politicians either need to make it so, or the citizens need to hold them to account.
No-No on NAFTexit, GATTexit, UNexit

In the formerly United States, we are not allowed to have national referendums on issues like Brexit. Our sacred-cow Constitution forbids self-determination.

For starters, whenever SCROTUS vetoes a law, its dictatorial decision can be overridden by a national referendum.

1) Another referendum would be illegal before the result of the first was implemented.

2) A snap General Election would though answer the question as to whether we do or don't still want to leave so why is the Remain side blocking an election?

Questions like Brexit? Would your Prez be allowed, by your constitution, to hand over US sovereignty to a foreign power ( outside having been conquered in war) without the say so of the franchise?

The UK is a couple of decades ahead of us in the realm of international sovereignty-surrender, but the US is working hard to close the gap.

It’s the enlightened thing to do.
