That's the neo in neo-authoritarianism - the sophisticated use of media (especially social media) to mentally beat you into submission so you willingly submit to their control. It's quite diabolical, actually. The left controls what words mean (we see it here all the time) and therefor who is a "racist." Surprise - it's anyone who believes in meritocratic freedoms. And then those people are "red flagged" for removal of all of their rights, at least for now - before too long it will be "reeducation camps" and, eventually, summary executions. That's precisely what all major Marxist movements have led to so I don't think it's wise to think it can't happen with this one.
