The only reasonable way to deal with any of this is to actively refuse complicity, cooperation and participation with a system based upon duplicity and corruption, devoid of any semblance of integrity anywhere. It's a game, pick a team, even though yours cannot get-r-done for ya such that you will always have to blame that "other" team because yours can't deliver. If it did, ya wouldn't have to protest the other party so frenetically. And this is utterly bipartisan and ubiquitous.

There is a term for repeatedly engaging in the same behavior while expecting a different outcome.

I should add that on the outside chance that if a a small contingent of voters decided to take it to the streets and burn it all down. There might be a public backlash much like we saw in Korea town during the riots.
People will take steps to protect themselves and property, sometimes they are drastic steps.
I seriously doubt it will happen, I really hope it doesn't.

If one looks around clear headedly it is intuitively obvious that the empire is preparing for its contraction. This is why the public is being desensitized to the existence of internment/concentration camps in society. This is why the police have been militarized, this is why we're all under surveillance.
