And the majority of left wing posters are ... ?
And posters who aren't right or left wing are ... ?
I've met Woolley, a couple of times. He used to come to Dallas every so often on business. We met for lunch and got along pretty well despite being on opposite ends of the political spectrum.
We always had congenial conversation until I told him, in late 2015 that Hillary Clinton could not win the election. He laughed, of course and ridiculed me and then when Trump beat the bitch like she was a 2 dollar steak, Woolley grew surley. He's been contentious ever since.
I doubt he'll want to have lunch with me again, the next time he comes to Dallas.
Most Lefties have grown surly since ......well........... they started getting that way when Bush was elected and it's just gotten worse. I thought they'd soften while Obama was president, but Obama was surly, so they latched onto that and just kept going.
I used to enjoy posters like barentw, andout/ashes, and a few others. There's one guy whose name I can't remember right now - had two adult daughters, lived in CA I think. Sort of a blue dog Democrat. Surely he's still nice.
Ashes turned angry and just stayed that way.
I was friends with barentw on facebook and had pictures of his wedding and his cute little twins, then when Obama was elected he snuffed me out. We didn't even talk politics on FB.
There were some pretty good Dem posters on the Fray, at least on the BOTF. Everyone knew where I was politically but several were pretty civil. Dr No, comes to mind but that was a long time ago and it's hard to recall all of them. I still have a list of all the Fraysters. Some are here and there under different names. I met a few of them. One guy was from here in Dallas and we met for breakfast at Crackerbarrel three or four times but he was far left and I am far right and it just got to be not enjoyable.
The majority of left-wing posters are morons, under-educated or educated idiots, inadequate, devoid of common sense, self-absorbed and irresponsible.
Posters who aren't right or left are a curiosity.
40 years ago I made myself a promise that I would not get killed in a bar. The only certain way of ensuring that is to not go in them. So I haven't in the last 40 years. I didn't give up going into restaurants, however.
I guess I'll have to be the bartender
If someone has politics on the mind- it will always come out.
It can be in a sports bar showing a baseball game.
SOMEONE, SOMEHOW, SOME WAY will find a way to make it political.
Just coffee, water or maybe some kind of juice. I'll be the designated driver.
I don't wear glasses.……………..and 69
I've met MP & Caroljo and would like to meet many more...…...
I haven't been into a bar in years.......many years........... I doubt I ever go into one again.
Whoa....too much information
Really? I'm 38 . What the hell do YOU look like
Nice selfie, man! You've got guts (literally) showing that off.
