That simply isn't the case. The Burisma investigation was underway when Shokin was fired, and as soon as the new guy was appointed the Burisma bigs "met" with him to make sure that it died. Unless, of course, you have proof of some convictions Lutsenko won against them?

It was thrown out by the court due to lack of evidence. Lutsenko’s aggressive efforts to dig up evidence couldn’t make up for months of the investigation languishing prior.
