    BLIZZARD WARNINGS IN SIX STATES

As of Wednesday afternoon, Wesley had not stregthened enough to meet the most commonly used definition of "bomb cyclone," which is a surface pressure drop of 24 millibars in 24 hours. However, if you adjust for latitude, Wesley has strengthened sufficiently to meet the definition, according to NOAA Weather Prediction Center senior forecaster David Roth. According to Weather Underground meteorologist Bob Henson, nontropical low-pressure systems tend to be weaker at lower latitudes. The original 1980 study that coined the term "bomb" therefore suggested adjusting the more common definition by latitude.

    Happening Now
Snow from Wesley is ongoing across the northern and central Rockies, as well the northern Plains and parts of Minnesota and Wisconsin.

Snow is piling up, especially in northern South Dakota, where several spots have already seen more than 10 inches.

I guess the planet is NOT warming and the poles are NOT melting. Now you know why the idiots wanted to change the crisis to Climate Change, (which is equally bullshit)

    Prediction:
SOME idiot liberal here will try to spin this.

    Just watch.

Whether you call it global warming or climate change, the idea behind the "science" is the same... the idiots still think that the atmosphere retains heat.

The atmosphere does not retain heat.

The idiots are trying to push the idea that the atmosphere has retained a couple of degrees of heat over the past few decades. Right now, it is 50 degrees colder outside than it was yesterday. The atmosphere temperature lost 50 degrees in 24 hours, but the idiots think the same atmosphere has retained a couple of degrees over the past quarter century.

So where did yesterday's heat go? We know where it went, it rose and dissipated in the upper atmosphere... yesterday's heat is gone, and yet these idiots still think that the atmosphere is retaining a couple of degrees over the past couple of decades. So, they would say that the heat is still there, even though it is 50 degrees cooler... so where is that heat hiding? That 50 degrees isn't hiding anywhere, the entire atmosphere has cooled off, all 8 miles of it. Pretending that heat is retained from decade to decade when it isn't even retained from day to day is totally stupid, pretending that the temperature dropped 50 degrees because the atmosphere is retaining heat is completely illogical, it is sheer idiocy.

I tend to listen to non-published experts on blogs before agreeing with peer reviewed experts who defend their conclusions among other experts before the experts publicize their findings. I find that a source found on a blog is far more reliable and based upon science, intimate knowledge and years of study then anything you find in academia or within national science foundations. I also am petitioning NASA to stop employing PHDs in Physics, Mathematics, Chemistry, Biology, Cosmology, Astronomy, Thermodynamics and other such wasteful doctorates in favor of bloggers such as we find here giving us their learned scientific analysis.

    Not Actually Science Anyway

All they are doing is statistical method. It is not thermodynamics.

Databasing surface temps and then using it to run weather programs, software that was developed to model weather projections, is not science.

Saying that the mean temp has risen, does not equal the atmosphere retaining heat. One is statistical method, the other requires the heat to actually be retained somewhere. When you have a number on paper for heat that has already left the system... you have nothing. When your numbers claim that heat is being retained and the atmosphere is slowly warming, when the atmosphere doesn't retain heat... idiocy from experts is still idiocy.
