yes, I can see where with the deliberate indoctrination in schools, the foisting of imbalances in the funding if healthcare, maligning of christians and christian morality, rampant and widespread abortion and reproductive services, and forced liberalizatin just about everywhere...yu are now speaking out against the leftist machine..

agree also, the wholesale maligning of all things conservative will ultimately lead to rule and indoctrination by fear. so too the media focus on singular themes (russia, evil rich, etc)

seems you are correct... the leftist propaganda machine is much further along than we realize..

The Weimar Republic was anti-totalitarian by design too. What you are ignoring is that a Constitutional order depends on a balance of power among classes and when this balance is disrupted the constitutional norms are undermined.
The Weimar Republic was a failed experiment.

There was no balance of power among classes for most of US history. It was a brief flicker here, and even that was largely an illusion. It's rapidly fading now. Obama took advantage of that. Righties squealed. Trump took advantage of it to get elected. Lefties are squealing, but so far over nothing substantial.

The constitutional order was stronger in the past than now. Attempts to undermine it date back at least to John Adams. The efforts of Presidents to undo the constitutional balance have failed. The one exception being FDR, who had lasting but limited success. And even he was bound by the constitution; he took advantage of its lack of specifics.

What's undermined the constitution hasn't been Presidents or class inequality. It's been the Cultural Marxists. It's in their long-term plans, it's working, and bearing abundant fruit. They've been the real government for a while now. Trump's bluster is no more than that; nothing can come of it. The slow and insidious creeping march to Marxist totalitarianism preceded him and will follow him. He's a distraction.

Of course having abortion be available is the opposite of the government controlling reproduction ... while the increasing efforts to restrict it are just that. The pro-Trump propaganda is so thick it's created an alternate reality that nearly 1/3 of Americans inhabit. For example, the claim that Christianity ... the religion of nearly everyone in Congress, many top military and bureaucratic officials, and many if not most business leaders ... is under attack, while the attacks on Islam ... which is attacked by name by the president and targeted with discriminatory orders and law enforcement ... go unremarked.

Trump is a symptom of the ruling - class turn against liberalism.

we're talking totalitarianism here.. no? and you shift to islam?

ps. nobody is attacking islam. people are free to practixe as they will, its the indoctrination and disdain for the religious inherent in much of the public sphere that is disturbing. hopefully those you cite will set things back on a neutral course.

“Donald J. Trump is calling for a total and complete shutdown of Muslims entering the United States until our country's representatives can figure out what the hell is going on."

No one is attacking Muslims, my ass. You say you're against disdain for the religious? Start with people whose religion is so reviled politicians want to stop them all (including according to Trump's "total and complete" those who are U.S. citizens) from coming to this country.

False ... a Fox affiliate has gone to court to confirm a 1st Amendment right to lie on the air. They can't commit libel. But "libel" is not an honest mistake, much less factual information that reflects poorly on the president (the vast majority of what he is denouncing).
They can be sued for libel the media has an obligation to report the truth.

A thoroughly bizarre lie. You know I said no such thing.
But do you believe it? There are two alternatives:

1) Flake knows more about what he said than you.
2) You know more about what Flake said than Flake.

Just type a number.

Using your logic, a missile defense system is actually an attack. Leftists: up is down, down is up. No wonder they're so deranged.

As you know, the answer is neither. What he said were words on a printed page. I told you that three times already. Unable to refute what I said, you just keep asking the same question, Rainman style.

Yes, because I enjoy watching you dodge the obvious truth. Why do you think the words being on a printed page cast any doubt on the obvious conclusion that a person who speaks words knows more about what he said than a third party observer. If anything, you just reinforced the obvious reality that Flake knows more about what he said than you do.
