Hey, I actually agree with the first part you said, kind of. I don't think it matters if you "convert" to any religion (I don't think God really cares what you call yourself) as long as you believe who Jesus really is & why he was sent to us.
The Jews didn't kill Him, but they did help by telling the Romans (?) to take Him to be executed instead of a murderer. Jesus was sent to us to go through exactly what he went through. Why would God hate the Jews for this when this was all in His plan and KNOWING that Jesus would rise again 3 days later? Makes no sense at all.
God, started hating Jews, very early on.
They started whining, right as he freed them from bondage, in Egypt.
"The food sucked".
And by the time, they got to "the Golden Calf".
He wanted to kill, every last one.
And God's opinion
Has not budged, off that mark, in some 3,300 years.
Then, they killed his son.
I will not dignify your comment, that "the Roman did it".
Because, that is ludicrous.
The Jews, at that time, were "under occupation", and they COULD NOT, kill people.
So they rendered him up, to Pontius Pilate.
On fake charges.
And he killed him.
For them.
God in his turn, killed Pontius Pilate, less than one year later.
And 6 million Jews.
In retribution.
