Jerry Nadler: "Just joined the #walkout of the House chamber to protest the shameful, politically-motivated GOP vote holding AG Holder in contempt.

Adam Schiff: “To say this is a terrible use of Congress’ power and time is an understatement.”

Nancy Pelosi: “It’s such a ridiculous thing. This contempt [vote] don't get me started.”

Steny Hoyer: “The action on the floor today is unprecedented in the history of America.”

Elijah Cummings: “You’ve been holding the Attorney General to an impossible standard” and that he solely was “protecting documents he was prohibited by law from producing.”

    ...

Of course that was heavily Democrat Eric Holder (who probably still believes that black people cannot, by definition, be racist).. after withholding documents that detailed the US Government giving away weapons to criminals in Operation Fast & Furious.. an actual crime.

But AG Barr? Today? In 2019? Based on the evidence-less faith of Russian Collusion? Get him!

It's sad there isn't an overall journalistic media to inform the people today. It could really be a service to the people, to identify just how hollow some of these intense claims that are going around are by the Democrats.

Are they not 2 different people in 2 different situations?
Or is that too much nuance for you?

Tell us, what did Holder have to do with Terry's death?

They are indeed two different people. But, please explain why the contempt charge against Holder was unwarranted, and the one against Barr is warranted. I'll wait...

    He caused it.

(Ok, OK....I know I have no actual proof of that, but hey, as a di m/l ib, all you require to label someone guilty of a crime is a deep-seated, all-encompassing, totally bizarre hate filled soul and a personal desire for it to be so, right? That is what I just did.)

Or, as I now suspect, is this "right" something you "feel" only those on the left are "enlightened" enough to be granted?

So you now admit to having a deep-seated, all encompassing, totally bizarre hate filled soul.

    we agree.

What we do not agree on is whether or not Holder even knew the details of the Fast and Furious operation. Just like I do not believe Bush/Ashcroft knew about Gun Runner or operation Wide Receiver.

Both F&F and W&R were sting operations run by the ATF and DOJ people in Az.
How much do you think someone at the head of the DOJ would know about those operations. My guess is not much. They may report the operation is in progress, but details are probably kept to a minimum until they can claim some credit for some success...and even less if it is a failure.

The republicans were seeking email between Holder and Obama, which Holder refused to release as privileged conversations. Barr has refused to provide an unredacted version of Mueller's report and is being held in contempt for that.

    Two very different events.

"So you now admit to having a deep-seated, all encompassing, totally bizarre hate filled soul."

Welllllllll…………….Actually, as is far too often the case among those of you loons on the left..... Not exactly.

Not that it matters to you in the least, but as usual, the truth has eluded you.

What I actually said was, "as a di m/l ib, all you require....". and, "That is what I just did".

Which means I presented something as if it were a truth, even though I had no actual proof, just as I would if I too were a di m/li b.

    Never the less, moving on...

You stated, "Both F&F and W&R were sting operations run by the ATF and DOJ people in Az.", and then asked the question, "How much do you think someone at the head of the DOJ would know about those operations."
To which YOUR answer was, "My guess is not much."

I would like to know exactly why that is and if it is an answer you would be consistent with no matter who the question was being addressed toward,

For example, if those operations were discovered to be happening right now, under this AG, would you give the same answer to that question?

My guess would be not likely.

My guess, based upon the way the left has been attacking any and everything anywhere near Trump related for the past 2 or 3 years is that not ONLY would you be all over the AG, you would be howling to the high heavens that Trump not ONLY personally ordered it, he drove the fukin' delivery truck himself.

I mean, lets face the facts here, Trump is already held responsible for any and everything anyone who does or ever has, worked with or so much as spoken to Trump MAY have done wrong, be it not paying enough taxes 10 years ago or dropping a gum wrapper on the sidewalk yesterday by you di ms/li bs, so it is easy to see why this would be a damned good guess on my part, right?

What you guess is irrelevant. Show a post of mine where I blamed Trump for something done by someone reporting to him where his knowledge of it was unlikely.

    That is still my guess.
Just a guess, but all mine none the less.

And in the absence of any post of mine blaming Trump for something done by some distant field office of the DOJ...worthless.

I was working for Oracle for a few years. Do you think that Larry Ellison had a clue as to what I was working on?

PS. I don't need to invent things to blame Trump for. He's a target rich environment all to himself.

The republicans wanted access to email between Holder and Obama related to Fast & Furious which had been sent after the F&F issue had hit the news...The issue was whether or not that was privileged communication.

This is about an unredacted version of the Meuller report, which now Trump claims is also privileged communication. No fair analysis would agree with Trump.

The law sadly does agree with Trump.

I don’t think it’s rational to demand somebody break the law, as the Democrats have done to Barr.
