HOLY CRAP BATMAN! Leftist Tina Brown says Obama sucks!

Tina Brown: ‘I Don’t Think [Obama] Makes [Women] Feel Safe’

Appearing on MSNBC’s “Morning Joe,” former Newsweek and The Daily Beast editor Tina Brown said that Democrats were struggling to attract female voters ahead of the 2014 midterms because women don’t feel safe under President Obama’s handling of the various crises facing the nation.

“The fact is that Obama’s down with everybody; let’s face it. And I think that particularly for women, I don’t think he makes them feel safe. I think they’re feeling unsafe. They feel unsafe economically. They’re feeling unsafe with regard to ISIS. They’re feeling unsafe about Ebola. What they feel unsafe about is the government response to different crises.

I think that they’re beginning to feel a bit that Obama’s like that guy in the corner office, you know, who’s too cool for school, calls a meeting, says this has to change, doesn’t put anything in place to make sure it does change, then it goes wrong and he’s blaming everybody. So there’s a slight sense of that.”

Right Wing Drones only appear to be aware of the broader world to the extent it manages to leak through the right-wing media filter. From behind that filter, I suppose the idea that Tina Brown would criticize Obama seems like a "holy crap" thing. But out here in the real world, Tina Brown isn't known as a "leftist." She's a glorified gossip columnist, known for the sleazy, celebrity-preoccupied style of the media outlets she runs. She's long bashed Obama. Here she is, back in 2010, saying Obama wasn't ready to be president:

Here Lucianne Goldberg's empty-headed kid gleefully celebrates Brown "ditching Obama" (way back in 2011):

http://www.realclearpolitics.com/articles/2011/09/30/tina_brown__co_are_ditching_obama_111535.html

Here Brown is in 2011 saying Obama doesn't know how to exercise power:

http://newsbusters.org/blogs/mark-finkelstein/2011/11/30/tina-brown-obama-doesnt-his-job

Here, in 2012, her magazine has a cover story telling Obama to "Hit the Road" -- insisting that we need a new president:

http://theweek.com/article/index/232260/newsweeks-anti-obama-cover-story-has-the-magazine-lost-all-credibility

She's a reliable font of Obama-bashing:

I know this is probably all news to you, since you're only aware of Tina Brown to the extent moron-catering services like the Daily Caller bring her up, but there's nothing at all "holy crap" about someone like Brown attacking Obama. It's business as usual for her.

Be that as it may, any reasonable American who pays attention to the news of the day can readily conclude there are many (both higher ups and the general public) on the far left who are severely disappointed with the way Obama has conducted the office of the presidency.

Given that, I am concluding you don’t think it’s enough to mean anything? Well, I do. When enough die-hard devotees forego their salient goal of supporting everything very left or liberal (and vice versa) and come out very much against “their leader,” that speaks volumes. The guy must be a real failure.

The list of people Democrats are going to have to pillory, villify, blackball, blackmail, demonize, harass and persecute after Obama is finally gone has grown so long they'll need a new federal agency just to keep track of them...I hope Hillary is up to the task. LOL

It sounds like a thoughtful point you just made, but I’m not sure I grasped it?

Are you saying the “post-Obama” donkey party is going to go after the big-time Obama supporters who only made things worse?

No, I'm saying the radical left, which will always and forever worship Obama, no matter what he does, and which has completely hijacked the Democrat party, will have a long list of enemies to deal with. Now that so many left-leaning politicians and media types are dumping on the president to save their own skins, you can be sure that the radical, hard-left wackos who rule the mainstream media, academia and the DNC are most definitely taking names for later punishment. The penalty for apostasy in the DNC is draconian...

Maybe she's angling for a job on Fox 'News'. She is blonde, so she has that going for her.

Obama has arguably governed a bit to the right of Nixon, so there's plenty of disappointment on the left. He came right out of the gate with his foremost priority being an attempt to transcend partisanship, and he tried to give away the store to the Republicans, in pursuit of any bipartisanship... even offering to cut into Social Security, which had always previously been a third rail. That was extremely disappointing. Fortunately for the nation, the Republicans were so stupidly stubborn that even when he tried to give that all away, they stubbornly demanded more than even a milquetoast like Obama was willing to give, so there was no "Grand Bargain."

I was upset when he gave up on single-payer so easily.

Absent from this fairly accurate assessment is any acknowledgement whatsoever of his fomenting a negative hyperpartizanship that overtook most every aspect of his administration

"Obama has arguably governed a bit to the right of Nixon..."

Obama hasn't governed at all!
Obama has played games of "how to best avoid a confrontation anywhere" and "how to best maintain my popularity with the populace and gain tons of friends with celebrities." And he has done that by running and hiding from serious problems, and handing out favors to the most corrupt or incompetent associates and covering up his past and the present.

That is why so many on the left cannot stomach him. That... and so much more I should say.

Your example of a couple of political moves noted above is hardly the reason his own former confidants or associates are publicly expressing huge disappointment in him.

Definitely sounds JV to me, if even that.
